LiMux worked just fine, but the mayor and several council members were in the LiMux opposing party, so well, yes, they'll change it.

Obviously, Munich also has the money to completely change its IT infrastructure instead of investing in affordable housing, a better traffic infrastructure, having sufficient daycare facilities for children ...

These types of things make me lose faith in people 😕

@Electrux Munich is a rich city, don't get me wrong, so there might be enough money to "fix everything" ... imho it's just ill-advised investing in a working IT atm.

@nin0x03 oooh... well I guess people just get repelled of Linux and don’t give it a fair chance... but still the main problem seems to b that there r very less corporate applications on Linux 😕

Well, the politicians in Munich probably made some deal with Microsoft so MS would transfer their headquarters to Munich(and pay taxes there).

After MS arrived in Munich suddenly everybody seemed to complain about the Limux system and apparently everything was bad about it. This continued for months until they now transition everything to Windows.
    What a coincidence.

It's true, I really don't want to know how much all of that will cost in the end.
