Has only happened to me the last 8 years. Just remember: I get paid to do this.
-
What money?

Low tech tip: A postit on the bottom of the screen that says: "it's illogical?"
And on the back:
Right branch?
Rebased?
Pull latest tools?
Beer a clock? -
Ohh. Another thing... a long time ago when getting close to 30 I coined the phrase after a day of downhill skeeing for the first time in 15 years:
It's fun but I feel a slightly bit less immortal than last time. -
Wow. This thread took a penis turn.
Just wait to 40+
Do you know what to do for a 40+ guy that has no aches or pain?
Dig him a 6ft whole to put him in before he starts to smell. -
As long as everyone use common sense things will continue to be safe...
Boom... -
cgroup + pid control. Fairly contained process to make it a more abstract black box that you then can run seamlessly in most environment.
But if you just need to run the program in your environment it's overkill.
But it's good to learn, it's not a fad, it's is/going to be new standard how to release software solutions. -

It's closer to a polymorphic 5D with a 4D cut close to the edge, but close enough 😏

I did a similar thing in sweden. First year (not a full vacation year) I got a certain amount of paid vacation days and some unpaid, but the system only showed total amount.
It got it sorted out by working a bit longer days for a while to cover the few unpaid days I took. -
Network mount a folder. It's always annoying when sudo rm doesn't work and I realize that the file is not local.

Roman emperor Constantine produced the approved version of the Bible. About ~400AD, I wonder what the first draft was...

Automate them is not enough. They are there so the board of directors can show strength and fire them when things go badly.
A robot series that can shake hands and be blown up every time the company is in trouble may have potential. -
Sandpaper is most efficient removing shit.
-
Hmm. You wrote this 5 days ago. Now they want to fire 14000 people, could there be a connection?

Violence

5*4*3*2*1=120
Sorting may take time. So what? -
Yep, a few trolls have wandered in into our den. Please don't feed them.
-
It's a feature, now everyone can call your house "The tree house"
-
Not as satisfying as pulling the plug.

RJ45 is the answer. Splurge on cat7 if possible. You never know when you need to increase to 10GBit.
RJ45 tool is like 20$.
Measure twice and take your time and you have a good feeling that it was installed correctly.
With a cabel channel it will look professional.
RJ45 wall socket is optional but better than just a cable coming from cabel channel. -
I live horizontal away from my work, not in some kind of attic. Goes in to battle it every day though.

You forgot us with long experience.
Went home before 4:PM and are nowhere to be found. -
Producing natural biodegradable fertilizer is a requirement for management.
-
Consequences if done wrong due to human error? Could be worth it. Not enough information for a verdict.
-
When you work so much that your team is always stretched to the limit, manager word for it is that it is an agile team.
-
Write a support ticket. If your lucky it will be included in the next sprint that starts in two weeks... but most likely later.
-
Check your DNS, lots of problems occur if that's not working correctly 😏
Seriously, find a system that works for you. To find it start with the basics that were previously mentioned.
> year 2000: getting information were hard.
< year 2000: finding the right information is hard. -
Well... try being the log service. The log service logged the error, so the log service gets the ticket.

It's working != Good enough
