@linuxxx Yea, now it seems to me like I was a blind ;D. I always used end-to-end encryption, but that fact about their own cryptography really rises trust issues. Goodbye telegram, welcome back wickr, also give a try on Signal!

I mean there was a situation when Russian goverment tried to get in to one hacker’s telegram account. Telegram refused to give private key access to gov. Then Russia utter ultimatum: if they do not give private keys, they willshut down telegram service in whole Russia. In the end, Monday morning telegram worked as always without any disorders and services like google, facebook was down for 1-2 days. So it’s very intresting to hear linuxxx toughts.

The biggest issue is YouTube I guess. There are existing alternatives from technology’s perspective, but not content.

@linuxxx I think Telegram and Wickr are more privacy ensuring apps, you should try;)
