@AleCx04 being a we dev since 2015 I can tell you I've never needed floats. Just flex ox everything. Makes things a lot more understandable.
Ive never used the clearfix hack -
Is it a bug in unity or not knowing how their UI system works?
-
We need to be able to make both PDF as Excel exports, we don't use the PDFs, and when we do we use the excel file to make the PDF that way, but our current system can do PDF exports so this should make PDF exports as well. But there is no hurry since we don't use it. But it would be nice if it could be in the next release.

@OmerFlame yeah the Valve Index
But yeah most of my friends have one as well, some also have an Oculus Rift. I'm waiting for some more reviews on the Reverb G2, but I might get that as well as a secondary headset for when people come over to play. -
I'll get it when index support is included.
-
Also I see others say preinstall software. There is nothing I hate more at the beginning of a project is not being able to set things up my way.
You should document how to setup the project, but in my opinion setting up your own PC is important, I want the shortcuts I'm used to not what my boss or colleague is used to. -
Have time to get him into the project.
My best start at a project was when they actually had a handbook which described every micro service and how the data flow was. Then it had three test questions to actually fix some prepared "bugs" in the code.
It helps in two ways. You can learn how the employee thinks and acts while they learn the basics of the project. -
@SortOfTested I just tried it and it worked, I now have a link in my resume
-
@rox79 nah, just developer, I didn't mind if I would be making games software or web applications, as long as it was actual coding.
I still do a yearly game jam, and recently I started a collab with a stranger for a VR game. -
Lenovo yogas have that, but the annoying thing is it powers on while in a bag.
-
@Root @C0D4 https://youtube.com/watch/...
-
It's the worst
-
@Root but in some components the leds will produce more heat than the components itself.
-
@zavr something is either a joke or a rant. It's not tagged as a joke, so it's a rant.
-
And you think being halfway in a sentence switching to a new item is gonna improve things.
-
@Tr33 I assumed you have told him "fuck you this is not how we do it" and assume that you went to his superiors and said the same to them.
In scrum you mention these issues right away -
Your PM can suck balls. Find somewhere else to work at.
-
@SortOfTested I agree with you, but when it has subtitles I don't see what the issue is?
-
@heyheni it's User translated. Community members can do that and the channel manager can approve it.
-
You know that users can translate titles of videos?
When I'm on my work PC all videos by Tom Scott have Dutch titles (except the newest one). At home they are in English (the same language as the video)
Ive dislike this for a long time, and assume it is what you are talking about? -
@zemaitis I disagree, I don't mind if my project has 0 stars or 100, if I like the project I'll keep working on it, if I don't I don't.
If it has 100 stars you might feel obliged to keep spending time on it even though you don't want to. -
@sk23ll John skeet indeed does know all about C#, everytime I look up things his answers are always top rated. On stack overflow.
-
You mean this?
-
Yes the US organizes a coup somewhere to help Tesla to a material
-
@buglesscoder how is that a plottwist? He just doesnt care about stars whether he had 1 star or a million stars on his repos.
-
@Yggdrasil not right of the bat. If you've never had to write a line of code you ain't a programmer. The curriculum of CS differs per Uni and also the order it's been taught. I know unis where they have the first year just doing design (database and architectural) before they start programming in the second year. There is also CS unis where programming is an optional course.
-
@Bubbles as long as it's not on a napkin you should be fine
-
@kamen maybe a merge from one branch to another, or one repo to a other?
-
@linuxxx and the performance changes. It uses about half as much as ram.
-
@uyouthe yes indeed, dev tools in chromium are inferior to the ones in chromium. 🙄
