If you don't keep looking for the best you'll never find clojure.
-
@sladuled I can't delete rants in devrant
-
@iihirotoii it'll be less ROM Dev and more apps development. Also, I will be needing a lot of help from everyone 😅
-
I need the link to this rant so I can paste it on virtually every question I've ever posted.
-
@billgates it's his first Interview!😐
-
Just a query: do you have 29k+ upvotrs on DevRant mentioned on your resume?
-
@Fydrenak for me the rants and comments list screens don't rotate. Add comment screen rotates. Taht maybe due to the fact that state management is such a huge pain in the ass after rotation.😝

@jAsE so Facebook is a social platform website where you can connect to your friends and various other individuals from all around the world. It's pretty amazing but quite a waste of your productive time. Have a look at facebook.com. (They also have mobile apps)

Wtf is flex 😅

"Use a condom. Always."

@wildcard joined just now
-
@wildcard I would love to work on that 😁
-
This has been discussed (way) before. The co-founders said that they'll make sure all the rants are addressed and the flaws fixed 😁
-
@sick I'm not stealing the code. The guy himself gave the access to that, which I made sure is taken away from me, and also deleted anything left on my laptop. Also, no one smokes at the main entrance of a large corporate.
-
I have a MBA 13" and use it for Android development (job) and one the side, for some Unity3D and web development too. Also, chrome is always on. I find it quite a good machine for my use case. Do consider something a little more Powerful if you wanna run stock emulators though.

If you sit and think about it, Google search algorithm is one of the most fucking amazing thing in the software world. Also, no privacy in 2017.

@theScientist But... But... But... Isn't Node.JS a runtime environment?
-
But... But... But... Isn't Node.JS a framework?
-
@sylflo that's the reason for calling him now 😂
-
@sylflo Due to all the comments here, I've decided to call the guy for the next round and actually discuss this. Let's hope for the best 😁
-
@SmirkingBandit you don't need reactive programming for this, a simple retrofit call would suffice. Also, it would be a lot of overhead while refactoring code, but here you're creating a new project
-
@JaredDunn He has worked on Android for 2.5 years. I do think that using an asynctask to call an API when you're applying for a role at a startup isn't a good call due to the lifecycle issues
-
@SSDD I currently reside in New Delhi
-
This is mainly due to two reasons:
1. Gradle building is very resource intensive, and as android studio uses it quite a lot, it eats up your ram and processor.
2. As you said, the IDE in itself is a beast, and handles almost all stages of development, which is very difficult to achieve. They will eventually think of optimising the entire process, but till then, pray 😌😂 -
@spoonsearch bro I have no clue about the area, but I've heard it's crazy expensive. Can you mail me at gurpreetsk@hotmail.com so we don't spam everyone here 😌😂
-
@iamkaushal The subject is software testing, 7th semester, CSE/IT. Yes I'm from new Delhi 😁
-
@iamkaushal GGSIP University, New Delhi. Search it 😂
-
@hawkes Inglish is a Phunny languaje. 😂
-
@spoonsearch bro can you give an estimate how much I have to spend if I try to get a pg near lower Parel area? I want the house to be as close to office so I don't spend a lot of time travelling everyday 😌. Also, can I easily find a pg there or not, because I hear the area is like greater Kailash for Delhi.
-
@spoonsearch sure man!
