"we're like a family" *big fucking gulp*
-
The one you were looking for is Twitter
-
Tell him you have this REALLY great idea for a startup that'll change the world
-
Relatives...... Expect the horror of your relatives being there.
Not gonna go into any more detail 🤐 -
I think your best option right now is just pretend to be busy but sincere in that you'd have helped them if you just had the time. It works for me at least :D
-
You might want to look into quitting your job and writing short stories
-
They you actually have something else to do or work on. Don't let yourself idle for too long or your skills will start to deteriorate.
If you're still working there search for another job first then quit -
@fredd8y
It's honestly a relief to know I'm not the only one but it still is my biggest mistake so far I think....
Well the company is small so during my time there I got to know the owner on a personal level and he is a very nice guy, I've tried contacting him but he told me they don't have the capacity for an extra employee (physical space, hardware etc) So it's not that easy. -
@olback
This is Swift not JS..... Sorry to disappoint -
@armaged
Is it really? That'd be interesting -
@RantSomeWhere
I'd be more worried if it was the first day on the job as I can get away from the interview by acting dumb but can't get away from a contract 😵 -
@RedPolygon
Lol I'll give you 7/10 for creativity 🤓 -
@ganjaman what do you do exactly?
-
@Fast-Nop
Well same goes for iterators they're still abstract loops and recursion is a loop too -
@beggarboy
it's just that all algorithms depend on a loop and you probably never find an algorithm without a loop.
And design patterns are the same idea as algorithms in that they try to solve a problem but without any loops and just classes.
So they both have this shared core that they build on.
I don't know it might sound stupid but it's stuck in my head the underlying connection between them -
Nice! Congratulations man.🔥
Now you won't need that sudo to install into her 😇 -
Marven from the hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy
-
Well after a while of compiling stuff on it and exhausting it's components it'll be the opposite :
your testing device will be your personal device and you really don't want that (To whomever said this) -
-Call functions not each other out.
-Interrupt to the OS instead of someone.
-Chain matrix multiplication not other humans.
-Dance with links not on top of the graves of your enemies.
-Crash your program while testing not someone's car
-Reduce memory allocated not time spent with your family.
- Maximize usage of your CPU performance not the junior developer under you.
-kill the stupid non technical project manager. He deserves it -
@senzory what the fuck....
When you get thoughts like these just commit them locally and don't push them in a comment my man -
Well the only thing you could do is to explain it using examples that show how it's used (but not the same example repeated over with different numbers) I think people learn better that way.
If you're already doing that then you're going the right way but you'll still need to do more along the same lines. -
Hey hey this is PG-13 rated @YourNemesis

@dontPanic

@rEaL-jAsE
Okay so
-You're assuming that it's better based on how it runs on your computer.... Interesting statistics.
-You also assume that I started the browser war when you're literally the one who jumped in saying one is better than the other......
-If you don't care so much you shouldn't have made a comment them 👀. -
It is supposed to be ironical to what he's saying saying it's just better so I posted this...... So I guess in a way I did what you've just done but I assumed (looks like I was wrong) that it would be clear @noogli
-
Yeah because saying Firefox is worse without any points of comparison is VERY accurate 👀👀@rEaL-jAsE
-
This should prove my point enough @rEaL-jAsE
-
Yeah I'm always trying, I started contributing code to open source projects as much as I can trying to improve myself and I'm enjoying it very much so I guess I got that going for me. @joas
-
I'm currently not working there but I'm scheduled (a big maybe) to come back in the summer. And the problem is I went be able to find any other ones as people don't like students nor do they trust them so if I leave there then I'll just stay at home. @joas
-
I know exactly how this guy got it because he was a show off, he would go in the interview with his expensive laptop and latest iPhone and they'd immediately think he's a great and experienced developer while in reality his father was the one who bought them for him (Mac laptops are VERY expensive on my country compared to the currency)
And also another thing I knew when I sat with him is that he takes project from the internet as a copy paste into his laptop and calls them his which he doesn't know how they even work @aldoblack
