@perfectdark in my experience all 64bit Windows have an x86 folder where 32bit programs are installed by default, while the non-x86 folder keeps the 64bit programs.

A bit annoying in my opinion, but in the rare case you want both versions of the same program... (I'd install both in the same folder with identifying names, but whatever)

@brod that's certainly an interesting option. I'll probably end up doing something like that, dual booting is not hard but it's... inconvenient

Well, in Spain it only means "tail", so it's safe to use that word here. It only really matters in South America (and then again it probably varies by country), just like "coger" means "to take" in Spain while it's a bit more... Intimate over there.

@azuredivay nope. In fact I've had to use IE to access some websites in the past that were not displayed right on the others, specially since Chrome dropped NPAPI support (thus rendering Microsoft's Silverlight useless, among others)

Not great on battery, but I needed a nice laptop on a budget, do a lot of gaming, and couldn't have a desktop computer because reasons.

Had to upgrade to 8GB RAM, bringing the total price to 700€ (taxes included, which are 21% here in Spain). I might add an M.2 SSD in the future...
