Keep up the good work my man! Have fun!
-
Dare I say use Xcode? XD
-
I’m likely to receive hate on my answer. But I’m going to say I enjoy writing in Objective-C. Swift is pretty great as well.
Objective-C is a mature language, and powerful in many ways. Swift being a new modern language, but will require some time to mature. -
Zipity do dah, zipity day, I need good coffee, for a good day.
-
Yes, destroy his life.
-
Okay then, now it's time to stop coding...and realize that the world has just ended. Abandon my workstation, and run outside wildly hoping to get hit by a car or truck.
-
@RYPTAR glad you're inspired! Every dev should make their mark on their work. Be proud of the code you write.
-
I generated this manually. As for the website that can generate this? I'm not sure, I created this manually and edited the Xcode code file template.
Now...in the objective of establishing the basis of this image..it was in fact designed to be a Tie Fighter. Though after second thought, the design does look like a Pokeball.
Objective-C was actually the first language that I learned, in fact I self taught myself the language. I've enjoyed it for the most part...until I met Swift...<3 I fell in love with Swift. -
Hackerman!!!!
-
@penguwin Thanks! I've had several coworkers laugh and love it.
-
I just went blind seeing that. How dare they give us devs a bad rep for their creepy looking code -_- I'm very picky about the structure of my code.
-
I second that @Greggergalactic
-
See, by this point no application should ever have an "unexpected" error, as applications should "expect" errors. So now applications should say "we encountered an expected error due to this shitty OS".
-
While SSDs don't fail too often, they still fail. So I'm guessing Apple thought differently than what conventional wisdom says "not to solder SSDs to the logic board". What else is new?
-
Don't worry guys, the Developer is in Sandboxed area. Others won't be able to alter or touch the Developer.
-
Okay, so I can understand Safari on macOS. That's the browser that I use on my Macs. Though I'm not sure how I can understand or encourage usage of Safari (especially a legacy version) on the Windows Platform.
-
There ya go. Survival of the fittest!
-
@darksideplease you know what? I'm not sure. I guess that's what happens when too much stuff is going on? 0.o and Stupid things 0.0
-
8.3 beta? 8.3Beta has been crashing like every 2 minutes -_-
-
@pVtm4sTeR I have worked with HockeyApp. Though this application has extended Entitlements (not often public API's) that requires us to maintain a relationship with Apple's backend.

Both asyncDisplayKit and componentKit seem fantastic. Though I personally would recommend asyncDisplayKit, but aside of my opinions. I noted that asyncDisplayKit is far more popular than componentKit.
componentKit has 3,694stars vs asyncDisplayKit has 10,735stars.
componentKit has 150 watchers vs asyncDisplayKit has 559 watchers.
componentKit has 405 forks vs asyncDisplayKit has 1,905 forks.
Judging by both of these statistics, asyncDisplayKit appears to be more popular. -
While there is complaints that Android users can't reach the tab bar at the top; I'm sitting here with my iPhone in my hands where if I need to touch the navigation bar at the top, all I have to do is just tap on my home button lightly to activate reachability ;) Apple isn't so bad...in some ways..

Apple has required IPv6 since January yes, however, Apple announced this requirement in June of 2015.
However, if a developer uses CFNetwork and/or NSURLSession APIs, those APIs are compatible with both IPv4 and IPv6. The requirement of IPv6 has been a guideline for App Store review since then. Plenty of time to work with getting IPv6 IP Addresses and the Codebase up to speed on supporting IPv6.
On another note, Apple's requirement of ATS in the proper manner actually got delayed that was slated to take effect this month. ATS is the App Transport Security, which prevents unsecured connections. Though a lot of developers just simply bypassed ATS by choosing the option to "Allow Arbitrary loads". Which completely defeats the purpose of ensuring secure connections. Though I don't think ATS should be so strictly enforced, so as the dev has a legit reason. -
@WerewolfCustoms that's awesome! I'm very jealous! I hope to get one soon.
-
Congrats man!

Exiting For Loop....try another job, catch the exception.
-
I actually introduced a dark mode in one of my iOS apps that Is in beta!
-
I'll be honest, I've been a developer for roughly 6 years. I haven't encountered such terrible issues! (Lucky me I guess) Sorry to hear the troubles Apple likes to cause.
-
@danzig666 I appreciate the offer, but our company pays a ton of money each year for code level support from our partner.
-
@digital216 Most of the time yes, but this one instance I'll say no. But if no one in my company, or on SO or other dev forums haven't come across this issue yeah it'd be fun to overcome that challenge. However, due to the nature of the issue at hand, there is no logical way to explain why the issue is occurring in the way that it's occurring.
