Heyo!! I have no context but welcome back!!
-
@Lensflare Is everything working as intended? Are there any fixes required at the moment?
-
Happy to see that SwiftRant is working as intended! Also very happy that people actually make use of my work.
-
Fuck count: 6
Holy cow, you are ANGRY -
@bioDan lol yeah someone forgot to update that internally
-
@rox79 It's a pretty big convention (nothing "big" on the dev scale really happens around here in Israel) and it's free! Also, it's my first time in a big convention like this, so I am really excited about this.
-
@SoldierOfCode I definitely did, the wrong tagging is due to a bug in AltRant (I'll maybe work on it some today!).
-
German engineering at its finest.
-
Holy shit, that is next level. I didn't exactly hop on the ChatGPT hype train, but I am yet to see this thing.
...to be fair, ChatGPT is able to generate assembly code for me on command.
Also @FuckJava I love your username. Java is an excuse for operating systems to not be POSIX-compliant and have their own proprietary bullshit non-standard kernel (looking at you, Windows.) -
This is extremely low quality, but it captures it pretty well.
-
I also have videos, however I can't send them here.
-
Found some! Have a small compilation.
-
@Demolishun respectfully disagree, though Anakin was a little annoying.
-
(Also thanks @iiii for letting me know about this when I asked for odd time signature music on the dR discord)

My dad works as a recording engineer and editor at a very successful orchestra in my country.
Every time he finishes a recording and sends it to his boss, the boss needs to listen and point out things he doesn't approve of and that need fixing.
For the last year, he hasn't listened to anything he sent, not even once.
About a month ago, he got so mad at his boss and told him that he is quitting (and he really did, he found another job as an electrical engineer).
About 3 weeks later, someone from the orchestra said that "someone else is in charge of listening now" and that he can come back, since they eliminated the issue. They also raised his pay. He is now back in the orchestra, while ALSO being an electrical engineer (time allows him to do both at the same time).
**Make some noise**. Noise is the key with annoying companies today. Not patience. -
@dOwNvOtEr lmao
-
@aviophile Never thought about this feature, but in what way would you like to block them exactly? You can also just not subscribe to their posts.
-
@Lensflare
-
@PonySlaystation after you said the word "stonkoverflow", I am only left to wonder: are they on the NYSE and if so, how are they doing on there?!
-
@cmarshall10450 goofy ahh ISO-500 clean room
-
@Lensflare I receive everything people send me, I haven't had time to check anything lately...
-
@IntrusionCM
OmerFlame committed: "fix1 final fully working no survey 2072 1000000% working unpatched"
All jokes aside, I actually only set up a CI about 200 builds ago, I actually built it locally about 400 times in the attempts to fix the app everywhere I could. I am working insanely hard on this app. -
@joewilliams007 I actually worked on it so damn hard for those 3 weeks, I actually advanced by 400 builds in that time span, yes. No joke.
-
@joewilliams007 Build 1607 to build 2084 wasn't in a week, it was more like 3. But in the post, I said that I will revoke build 1607 in 6 days, I think you got me wrong 😅
-
@JS96 just checked about the padding in the text field (literally writing a comment using AltRant right now), I now see what you're talking about. And the select highlight thing is pretty damn annoying, ngl. Added to the list of things to do! Your feedback is priceless and I evaluate its worth in gold, same for all of the other testers who are constantly giving me feedback and sending crash reports, your input translates to my direct actions!
-
@WildOrangutan I do, but I also wanted to put them here.
-
Looking pretty good, not gonna lie! However, I have a lot of pent up resentment towards SwiftUI, I can’t stand it 😅
-
@Lensflare
List of bugs that were fixed:
Layout issues in cells in the profile screen
Layout issues in cells in the Subscribed feed
(Potentially fixed) rant editing with a URL in it (probably some attributed text that wasn't updated properly)
And way too much more... (including what both of us worked on in SwiftRant) -
@Lensflare my apologies! I am confusing you two because john sent out some issues either on devRant as well as Apple Developer feedback crash reports 😅
I swear one day I will get it right. Thanks to both of you! Your contributions are extremely helpful. -
