A lot of text editors can replace all at once to save you any headache. Some may have the ability to perform the action across multiple files. Regardless you are in a professional work environment and his jokes are costing you time and thus the company money. As a lead dev I would warn him and move him onto another project / team where he is not comfortable performing those sorts of "jokes" on the people he works with.

Your PC looks very similar to mine too although mine is some make called zoostorm which I've never heard of before I got it. Your phone looks almost identical to the one on my desk as well! Grow the business balls, tell them that you respectfully decline the offer of works as you feel the scope of works is to unpredictable for the cost/timescale and you can refer them to companies that may take the work on if they wish. They will turn around and either tell you to do what you want for the money, drop the scope of the project for the same price, or double the offered payment.
