I can only assume the amount of $$$ made by the developer by having it exclusive only. In addition to the money they save by only developing for one platform.

With that out of the way...I agree with you and think exclusives don't really bring any value to the end user (even those 'exclusive for x months'). It's just a handshake between platform and dev to get the most bang for their buck.

With the amount of games out there...I think the hurt to the end user is low...especially if it will eventually come to their platform. PUBG being a prime and recent example...smash it all you want...people love it and are foaming at the mouth for a chance to play.

I'm an Xbox guy...used to be PlayStation back with PS2 but switched because of friends. With the interface and ease of use, I will never go back to PlayStation regardless of the exclusive...not because I think one is above the the other. There's something about Xbox that draws me.

It finally stopped for whatever reason after a couple of restarts of all the things. I suspect it might be a max connections issue coupled with timeouts...but that might just be a symptom. I'm having a hard time reading the logs (don't fully understand them)

I really hate our environment and wish the company would see the value in upgrading.
