@seraphimsystems yeah, like saying metal and silver is the same thing, still wrong.
-
I knew it already, been cryptographing my passwords with base64 all along
-
@oreru except that on programming if it has wrong punctuation on page 173 the whole thing makes absolutely no sense
-
I can't even grasp how that would be done
-
But it passed all unit tests!
-
@magh81 that assumes teachers have common sense... Most of mine didn't.
-
I like golang, but dann do I need a cheatsheet.
-
What's low-code/no-code?
-
@calmyourtities Yes. And there are several themes for it. You can also tweak how the static generator works, to do whatever specifics you need it to do.
I made my own theme so every page had a table of contents, and some other random tweaks. It is really flexible.
Oh, and I have it hosted on a Raspberry Pi. -
@DanijelH heh that's the running theory. It was just some very innovative recruitment strategy.
-
@SukMikeHok I've forwarded these long ago, and from the post mortem I may have actually dodged a bullet

If homeoffice meat less wasted hours and resources, that in turn may be used working something else, I'd probably go for it, as it would also allow for professional growth.
But occasional in my dictionary means "not really".
In that case, I'd get the one with higher pay and professional growth promise.
But, again, every workplace I had that promised me "professional growth" turned out to be just the promise. That meant I had to grow outside of my workplace, studying and building a better portfolio. -
The problem with Wordpress is trying to use it for everything. It is very good for blogging.
Also heard good things about Ghost from an overexcited coworker.
I personally use Jekyll though. -
I hope those were not just taken off from the prod servers.
-
I think it is actually Windows that doesn't know that the update settings exists
The only way I found to work consistently on all computers where I work involved changing the registry -
Maybe you should apply for a management position

How many kilograms will he need to shred before they fit?

Yeah, I can definitely see it taking that long depending on the level of crappiness of the data modeling

@ThaMunsta dude, it came out before C was born....
-
I'm sure they'll fill that spot really quickly

What? A gradle run managed to panic the kernel? That's kinda scary, but I'd blame a kernel fault for allowing that to happen.
As we learn on OS programming, kernel panic's fault always falls on the kernel itself. -
I also love virtual computers *Both eyes twitching out of pace*

Depends on the day. Usually I go with Synthwave or any generic "chill" electronic I can find... or some loud and heavy Trance on high energy days.

Reminds me of this https://gitlab.com/C0rn3j/...
The dude knows what he's doing -
Because then you'd think they're talking about a car.

>> Nowadays, software manufacturers have the same legitimacy as the "free" financial "advisors" you find at banks - and who could be dumb enough to trust them? Oh yeah: Almost the entire fucking society is who. <<
Are you implying they had any "legitimacy" at some point? That makes no sense.
We just need to realize that this is not a Software change. That change happened somewhere else, software is just copying what general retail/services are doing. It worked well for them, and certainly would work well for software.
You are definitely overestimating the impact of Free and OS Software here, software is just copying the rest of the economy. It wasn't GPL that made everything a subscription or microtransaction. It was simple competition, and would have happened in similar fashion even if FOSS had never existed.
