"I can spend August preparing 3 exams"

Assholes are assholes in every corner of the world. Maybe there's some kind of bias in tech. It's probably above the average frustrating but I don't think anywhere else would ne much better.
-
Maybe start from the docs...? Or maybe some book listed on the officiale website?
-
@netikras just a joke regarding your wizard-ish bash scripts.
I could've done better -
What's supposed to be your favourite IDE? Bash?
-
it's just because developer know what UX is. The public cares without knowing it. For them a bad ux is just "It's too hard for me".
-
I'm not focusing ebough on uni. Past years mental health issues lead me to being not able to focus on things when alone.
Not cooking anything fancy I'm afraid -
Some stupid cosine similarity with movie embeddings
-
Probably on some beach 5km from where you are that is not listed on google and/or ordinary traveling books.
-
I had the exact same issue in the same context. The recurrent `unwrap` or Result matching after each function call, having always to get the result as_something is really overwhelming.

@brolike I would use the "uni" phone just 5 min per day and I would have to carry it around to get notifications... Not worth it.

Wtf how is it slower?
Also, isn't there an option to shut off the 💡? -
Due to editors I do open-type-close, but on simple editors I do open-close-goback-type
-
@Lensflare some people told me that has some high (forced) hw requirements
-
Why, can Xcode run on a mac mini?
-
Still exams. And I did not fully study shit.
Guess I'll be a project manager. -
@tosensei agree. Of course humans are to blame, tech is not sentient right now
-
@tosensei bullshit. You're presenting jobs that were improved and that provided actual safety and/or value by allowing some resource gathering to be safer and easier.
Take a digital artist/artisan. AI replaces them without adding any value to the result but some money saving. That's far from the concept of value.
Same for more than half of digital jobs.
Imagine a warehouse robot. The same: takes away the jobs without adding an actual value to it. Always a money saving for a small elite. Call me commie, but this is crap. -
@tosensei I'm referring to media streaming
-
@electrineer nope, but I can't stay at home alone, especially if on my PC and not getting paid for it.
Basically because I sort of segregated myself in home for too long, then the pandemic hit, had a couple of burnouts and now I need to be around people during the day at least for some hours. -
@electrineer Nope, can't.
-
Idk man sounds like imposter syndrome.
If you just finished any course you are supposed to refine your skills by working. Just find an entry level job and don't lie about your skills in interviews.
If they hire you, they do expect you to not be great on day 1. If they did, they would've hired a senior.
Try with some CTFs if you wish, but I've been told they do not reflect the skills you need on the job. -
Why you didn't protect the master in the first place?
-
Don't know what hard software is but for some "learn to program the hard way" i'd say C++.
-
@lorentz It was a simple class meant to teach Servlets from scratch + Http
-
At uni I did my java servlet crap with VIM. Best choice ever (for educational purposes).

Still struggling to figure out if this is a bot

Yesterday was a great day.
Cuddled until noon with my gf, had a great luch and went with her at the movies later. Later we played an RPG card game (Citadels).
