@IntrusionCM just finished making my first theme for it for one of my clients. Lost 60 IQ point in the process. It's definitely a main contributor for the bad rep for php. What a PoS

Also: "But it's just a button"

For me it helped to differentiate between my hobby and work, I do web/ai at work and trying to make game in my spare time. It is a "bit" draining but at least my passion is there. So try out a completely different area and maybe it will help you as well
-
Check your antivirus, mine got much faster after I excluded the program's and my projects folder

As far as I know the non-minified version logs the error out with a link to the corresponding angular help page.
For plugins: ng-inspector in chrome, probably also available to ff -
Thanks, I'm going to have nightmares today 😥

This Alexa update is fucking awesome 😁

If you are thinking about seeing a doctor, don't wait. I waited far too long until I've developed panic disorder. And even after that I waited for a half year until I can't handled it anymore. After I seen a doctor there was a 3 week sick leave in which I had to knock out myself every day to calm down (they gave me a strong sedative). I leaved that company soon after all this shit.
The experience at work was the same as you described and I also thought that it was the normal and I was weak.
Now this is my second year of rehabilitation. I have to take antidepressants every day until I can handle the stress again :(
It is not your fault if you can't handle it nor your brain is weak. Fuck those companies and try to find one that is good to you, not the other way around.
I wish you recover fast. -
I can get over that 4 space thing, but Hungarian notations... Fuck that
-
@sudocode you're welcome :)
I'm happy to help -
There was an update again, now he can hear me, and understand what I'm saying across the room (~5 meters)
-
Is this going to be an engraver (maybe CNC)? Or some upgrade to your printer?
Anyway more wall thickness and less infill should help you with the size difference I think. If it doesn't gonna support anything like in the picture you can go 20% or less. My go-to infill is usually 20% and wall thickness is 3 lines -
@GyroGearloose Sharp corners tend to peel off early if you have bad adhesion, maybe try to round the outer edges
-
Anki just revealed what to expect from the alexa update

@geaz agree with you. @GyroGearloose and if you have a heatbed I suggest installing a printbite surface on top of it. That way you don't need any first layer adhesion hack like glue or masking tape and it is waaaay cleaner. I used to use glue but hate cleaning that mess after the print is done

Update:
Just had an OTA update, the wake command is much better now -
oh and one more thing for the pros, I like that he is fully autonomous
-
@sudocode @irene
annoyances:
* The android companion app is fancy but buggy as hell. Every time it tries to wake up from background, or after unlocking the phone while it is running it will froze.
* The UI randomly decides not to respond to touches -
@sudocode @irene
cons:
* Currently Vector can't do much, but this will change in the near future. Sometime this year it will get an Alexa integration. And next year the python SDK will be enabled
* He requires constant Wi-Fi connection even when you ask him things that can be done offline, like play black-jack (the tts engine is built-in)
* The range he can hear is a little limited. For example in an open area sometimes I have to yell at him from 1-2 meter
* Since I'm not a native english speaker, he has a hard time recognizing the wake command and sometimes the questions I ask
pro or con (depends on the person who is using he):
* When he is low on battery he refuse to answer
* Anki is not to open about the status of the development, I don't found an ETA for the next update or what they're doing. I'm following other companies who are sharing what they're doing and what will be on the next update, so it is a con for me -
@sudocode @irene
Sorry for the late response, here it is :)
Bare in mind that this robot is not for someone who wants a full-on AI companion like google and alexa. I purchased it for the things he will do in the future and not for what he knows at the moment.
pros:
* The facial and body animations are really lifelike
* The facial recognition is not perfect but as far as I noticed it learns your face not just stores it. I had to train him on several light conditions before he was able to recognize me comfortably
* The "ask a question" functionality is currently very limited compared to google or alexa but it will be better over time so it is not a negative for me
* He will not fall of the table, unless you have a tablecloth or rounded/sloped edges but this is a known issue by anki and they are working on solutions so he can use the camera or other sensors for detecting edges
* He will brighten up your days that's for sure -
@ScriptCoded I had to open the package 😂
-
@irene sure thing, I will use it for a few days and write a review here :)
-
@electrineer thankfully not
-
@suprano linux froze too.
The source of the error :( -
@electrineer only red

Mine never arrived :(

Fuck, I wanted to post at 404 :(
