@Alice but if you ++ again, would it be 10/10 or 19/10?
-
This can happen sometimes in laptops with 2 graphic cards, like those Intel + Nvidia combos for power saving. Try either disabling the secondary display or use proprietary drivers instead of Open source ones.
-
@hacker LOL 😂😂
-
@PaddiM8 Actually, the point of MD5 isn't security but integrity. checksum is calculated and saved at the time of creating the backup, and is verified at the time of restore. it ensures that the restore doesn't go through with a corrupted image. Wouldn't wanna damage the partitions with corrupted data
-
This almost always happens with me. Added an issue with the maintainer of my device, no response 😅
Unless you're on Oneplus X too, Now I think this may be a recovery bug! -
If you're familiar with Java already, you should give Kotlin a try. I was also spectical of the language before, but now I use Kotlin more than Java in my Android Projects. It's just much less frustrating and more stable. (In the sense that I can use Java whenever I want, or that I have actually control over if something is null or not.) Immutablity seemed pushy at first, but I see the point now. It's awesome really!
Also, Lambda are kinda like Java, but much easier to work with.
@Torbuntu is right, when you know a couple languages already, It's all just Syntax to you,familiar, easy, pretty syntax! -
@Kaji you need to make sure that the git client you're using has the same email address and name set up as your github account for the commits to show up on the graph.
The graph tracks commits based on your email id, so if your email id is not the same as that of your git account/is not configured, the commits will not show up on graph.
@awelxtr This may work for you too... -
Remove that stupid thing where app the settings are reset after updating.
-
@Deserter Go to the power menu in Windows and Disable Fast Startup.
That solved mine. -
@CSaratakij I see your point, I apologize 😅
Its the kind of thing that happens when you spend all your time finding stupid faults instead of working on the thing that's due in a couple hours 😞
Still, no excuse for the attack, I am genuinely sorry. -
@chadd17 me too bro, me too.
Sadly, unless we regularly mess with the settings, we don't really have much of a choice 🙄🙄 -
Where do I get something like these 😍😍
-
Am I the only one thinking, "Moisturize me!"??
-
@wasim Damn, I forgot to update the navbar. The cPanel thing ws originally supposed ot be shown only on my static IP machine, but that had problems, so I removed it. I guess I forgot to update the html file 😅😅
Edit: What about the domain name? -
this may be a bit off topic, but I'm currently making my portfolio website, and I've been using Materialize on it to make it Material Design. I actually like Material a lot. 😅
If possible, could you please give a pointer if this looks bad?

PS. I know about the load time issue. I'm currently working on it.
PPS. I apologize if posting it here like this is wrong, but I really don't have much people giving constructive feedback 😅😅 -
@magicMirror sadly that's the scene in India. Most companies take interviews in a similar manner. Even after a few coding rounds on a platform, you'll be expected to write code, not pseudocode, on a paper. University exams consist of similar questions too. Mine is one of the few universities which take programming tests and exams on Online platforms like hackerrank.
Believe it or not, this is opposed by a lot of students because the questions actually expect you to solve a problem, and not just give a crammed answer.
Yep, students here cram up the code.
Then again, the previous semester, our university had such a shitty online platform, it didn't record our answers but gave us a message saying test completed. (everyone failed), the second time, the question itself was wrong and we had no way of fixing it. Thankfully the awful faculty listened to us this time and a retest was taken.
Education in India is a business, and a shit one at that. -
@karma thanks! I ws actually amazed that it's available 🤣
-
This is also the main reason I changed my username here. If they can find me on LinkedIn from my Github handle, I think I'm better off with a different name on devRant.
-
@Jase To each his own, I guess 😂
-
@DutulescuRemus I like the show too man, but the muggles think that the show is the exact same thing as the real life. They get a lot of things right on the show, but it's still a work of fiction.
-
Well well, I guess I'm the weird one then 😂😂
-
Um, isn't Saraswati supposed to be the goddess of knowledge?
or is it something of a shared title?
(Aethist with Hindu parents, I know some stuff but don't really pay heed) -
@Sauruz My observation after using different IDEs by Jetbrains, apart from Clion, all of them combine into IDEA Ultimate with Plug-ins.
So yes, PHP storm is stripped down the IntelliJ ultimate with PHP plug in. -
Kotlin is pretty cool actually. Me and my friends have been working on this Contact share app (still in development), and we've almost exclusively used Kotlin. It's been much more fun than Java (no pun intended) 🤣
The only problem I have so far is that creating singletons in Retrofit-like interface classes is a pain in the ass. -
Here's Something I did today to trace my 5 line Recursive code:
-
I completed it today upto 33% in Level 3. The Next question is currently making me go crazy.
Integers upto 10^309.
That zero isn't a typo...
I'm just praising the fact that I get 96 hours to solve it. 😂 -
@hafiz5626 yep, lots and lots of hugs needed 😂
-
@CozyPlanes Oh my dear Baymax, 0 😂
-
@CozyPlanes I know right 😂
I got a Bobble-head because I could slap it if I get really frustrated, but the little thing is more adorable than I thought 😂 -
@HoloDreamer AIB, an Indian Comedy Company made this sketch where they "Meme-fied" Irrfan Khan into different memes. This is from that.
