@retoor never new about the meta quest title you said, but i remembered also that VR Toll (flight sim) which has more fake graphics is more fun than dcs. The same thing i got playing iracing vs asseto corsa. I refer those examples to show that it is not something related to nostalgia only.

Spyro the dragon reignited is another case of the same game with other graphics.

On the other hand i want graphics in cases like Skyrim which is something like virtual hiking for me.

But as i said initially, i want to trigger thoughts if it is something more than graphics.

@gitstashio it is just an example. I do not know about night, but FOR SURE i do not like sitting on computer before noon. My body wants movement, sun, light etc. I can code when my hormones start to calm down, that means afternoon and then . use whatever fits you. the problem is that we try to fit on company culture although we never had. Thats why almost all developers are hating meetings and ceremonies. Ping pong tables are not the solution.

@jestdotty all the story i am telling is on my native language. So yes, my posts are a little weird but i do not try to find partners from email chains and posts.

You guys above cannot understand that that i can configure my i3wm, but i DONT WANT to do it. You will never reach the level of a ready GUI like gnome regarding utilitities.

I saw recently omakub, a DHH gnome configuration that looks like what i want. You want to be productive. Even Linus is not on that "install arch" train. I installed 3 times arch, and like Linus, i never saw any advantage to it. And unlike many i3 usearchbtw friends i know, DHH had made a tone of money.

Dont get me wrong, to ask about i3 means that i have tinkered a lot through dotfiles, vim-stros, arch, endeavouros etc. But being mouseless and blazingly fast is totally different than learning how the brightness and the monitor arrangment and the touchpad -clickOnTouch works under the hood.

There are times that i just want to write code fast and not build a new GUI.

@mostr4am that means logout from i3 to make the easy stuff to xfce and then back to i3 for the mouseless stuff ?

@jestdotty yes but yoga requires a lifestyle and you need to go elsewhere to give an hour to do it properly. it has long term effects and i practice it .

i require something like emergency button of focus. meditation would be one thing, as you can do it instantly on your chair, BUT , i would like to explore some specific technique , this is why i ask for ideas.

In general, even with fridge technologie, we do not trust the temperatures to eat raw meat. The only exceptions are some salty recipes from the old times (the thing where you store meat in a sea of salt, not know how to say it on english )

@just8littleBit i am a lot faster, but not because it is split, but because i use blind system. Split is a boost for me because

a) it forces you use the blind system

b) i have wide shoulders
