i just say software engineer and refuse to elaborate further

as long as everyone pretends to be okay with the status quo nothing will change... same as actually being okay with it
I feel like that's why there's such a promotion of the ideal of pretending to be a corporate slave, to keep everyone in line -
@inawhile meh, maybe

Oof, I always found library/package updates for phones tedious to keep up with... I have a couple apps released a few years back and I'm sure they're not compatible by now. Funny that pushbullet is having problems with it too though, I feel like they should have the budget to stay on top of something like this

better view of how you can already make Win 10 look https://i.imgur.com/sAhunQa.png

@10Dev The UI update imo is worse, and anything they changed (taskbar centering) is achieved with TaskbarX and better because of a transparent taskbar... https://i.imgur.com/UptwAda.png

tbh I feel like Google results as a whole have declined in quality the past few years, it's always the same top sites again and again or a spam site that gamed its way to the top of the results somehow...

typically users will install wordpress to try to make a site and then give up 1/10th of the way through when they realize they have no fucking clue what they're doing and then hire a dev to fix it

also "it doesn't work" never counts as a description of the problem

amazing, I'll install it to try right now XD

NSA and other organizations spend millions to track how crypto transactions are related to each other :)
if you want to be fully anonymous you need to figure out a way to break the link of transactions to a traceable identity -
gpu prices are astronomical right now. Im glad I happened to upgrade right before the virus happened. Something told me to pull the trigger on it, so at least I had games to help me through lock down

haven't found many good creative wallpapers relating to coding topics tbh, I've looked pretty extensively and I only found a few I've ever liked :/
I guess coding and design don't mix often lol -
also, there's a lot less people here I've noticed, so you'd tend to see the same people. I feel like that gives it a bit of a friendly atmosphere though~

100% agree, I definitely work outside docker but it's been very useful in some situations that I would've been stuck in without it

I just used one to create an environment that was almost impossible to recreate modernly, as it was a Psp dev package and the setup for it was long lost to time. The community is dead, no help there. However, someone created a psp dev docker file that automagically creates a nice snapshot of a specific environment to compile it. Also, I did it on Windows. That's why Docker is powerful imo :)
would've literally been impossible to compile my code for the psp without that docker file in 2021
