@theKarlisK Yes... i wish it was like this.
I showed plenty of proof to my client, to no avail. He trusted the lawyers more than me because... well, they're lawyers and wear ties and I'm just a young freelance who coworks, I guess...
It's very frustrating. -
@RantSomeWhere The client was the one who was reached by the lawyers, he was happy to pay for their advice and happy to pay for another developer to put the cookie consent popup because I refused to do so.

My gosh, and Spain (my country) ranks 14th out of 211 countries on GDP. Too much for a 'poor' country, isn't it?
-
white-space: nowrap
-
Ouch... Please flexbox-ify!
-
@kvsm 1000% agree
-
@maysi Is not the way i'll do It but is still possible. You might have a text where you need to semantically mark sections and subsections with h3 and h4 but visually you prefer them to be the same. Not common, but I've seen it before. Strange, but valid.

Definition of sexism
1: prejudice or discrimination based on sex; especially : discrimination against women
2: behavior, conditions, or attitudes that foster stereotypes of social roles based on sex
Isn't it sexism implying that women are intrinsically annoying chatterboxes just for being women? -
@tpalmerstudios 3 devs, +17 content curators...
-
Use Compass: rhythm(ruler)
-
Tables? Flex!
-
Z-index:999
Z-index:9999
Z-index:99999
... -
It makes sense. Semantically you need an h3 but visually an h4-like element. Separation of concerns.
-
Always and every time
-
sexist, not funny
-
Flexbox and align-items or justify-content (depending on wether you are using rows or columns as flex- direction) should do the trick.
-
I use a mix of initials and actual second name
-
haha did the same and was surprised to see some of the answers... I'm loving Enki so far.
btw I have three spare invitations, anybody wants one? -
Great!
-
You are future-proof.
-
Have to say that my boss trusts me now more than ever before...
-
Beware: it is easy to generate inefficient CSS using SASS (by getting confident and overusing nesting, extends, etc...) I found this resources really helpful: https://sass-guidelin.es and http://thesassway.com
-
You won't write CSS again.
-
Sublime. But will try atom soon.
-
there is also an empty label and a font size in points... argh
-
Really great series!
-
oh... are we brothers?
-
OMFG at least replace it with some <div style="margin-bottom:Xem"><div/> or px or rem or wathever
-
If you write SCSS, use Susy. Not a framework but a solid set of mixins and functions that allow you to write your own grid without clogging your HTML.
