@exerceo YouTube only hosts the website. Most of the effort (plot creation, filming, cutting, etc.) is done by the content creators for free. YouTube will give them some share of their ad revenue afterwards, if the video was successful.

For smaller companies it’s common to hire people from a field no one at the company has a clue about. These companies try to innovate and the new employe is supposed to fill in that knowledge gap.
-
@MammaNeedHummus I indeed manage small projects but that case reminds me of my PHD and my former jobs at universities. I hate to see bachelor/master/PhD students fail for unnecessary reasons.

@K-ASS Any news on the response from your PhD supervisor(s)?
-
@lungdart Using scientific methods to prove a hypothesis false also results in a PhD degree.
-
@K-ASS Talk to your supervisor(s)! Just because the results are different from what was expected should not kill your PhD. It‘s the core of research to test assumptions. If you did that in a scientific manner & methodologically correct your PhD is independent from the outcome.

I don’t have a portfolio but some irrelevant stuff like LaTeX classes on GitHub. I never was asked to present work I did in my spare time. As I was in academia for 15 years a lot of my professional work was/is published.

Even if you have worked on military projects, they usually allow you to list the company and a vague description of your job. Sometimes you may even name the project and the technologies.

@Oktokolo Anti Mafia laws are stronger in Italy than in most other EU countries. Germany has seen an article increase in organised crime recently.

Maybe some female participants get pregnant during the clinical study?
-
@jassole Have you tried to comply to US regulations, e. g. from the FDA for electronic data capture? Read that crap and then we can talk about GDPR again.
-
How old is is that extension? When was it developed? Maybe the devices were accurate for that time.
Disclaimer: I only update the App Store pictures of my apps if I’m forced to. -
@b2plane Prompt Engineering is not limited to ChatGPT. 😉 ChatGPT is only one of many AI language models.
-
There is a whole new research field called “prompt engineering”.

@webketje This tool seems to be for websites only. Other software like medical apps or processes like clinical investigation plans are not covered.
