I remember doing something like this but with a function that took arguments.

looked something like

void draw(to, from, paint, message) { . . .}

where to and from is arr of x and y coor

paint is an array of characters to alternate through while printing

and message is the text to print when it reaches the destination.

@okkimus I prefer vanilla as well but I have found that being marketable requires some basic understanding of a framework.From what I've looked at, vue.js is probably the one that is closest to a vanilla js experience.

Sidenote, aren't almost all the js frameworks written in vanilla js? I guess the use of a framework would prove your point about vanilla js?

tbh most unis aren't great at teaching. individuals and freelance teachers (courses) are always better. at least this has been my personal experience time and time again.

KDE neon is pretty cool. The desktop environment is rollingish (continously updated/fixed) but the Ubuntu version and everything else stays stable. Debian based.

Elementary might also be a good fit as well sense you're coming from mint. Debian based.

Manjaro is also good as well. Arch based.

or if you want to keep using cinnamon, Antergos. Arch based.

@Linux Thanks for the heads up. That's good advice I had not thought of. BTW, the server I was talking about here. It wasn't that each website had a different user. It was that almost every single file had a different user and they were constantly chowning things instead of setting up permissions and ownership even remotely correctly..

this should set your nameservers if they aren't already set. Might be something else tho

/etc/resolvconf/resolvconf.d/head

nameserver 8.8.8.8

nameserver 8.8.4.4 # or whatever dns u want

- - - - - - -

resolvconf -u

systemctl restart systemd-networkd

- - - - - - -

could also set from

/etc/network/interfaces

iface (Device Name} inet static

# . . . other network settings . . . . .

dns-nameservers 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4

looks like its not getting nameservers . . :/
