I asked a user to send me a screenshot of their error yesterday. They proceeded to print out the web page error on paper, take a picture of that piece of paper and email me the attached photo. Gave me a good chuckle.4

Making a 30 second change and then waiting 20 minutes to test it... <F5 Refresh, Maven Update, Project Clean, Republish>

I should see it coming by now... it happens every release. I’m so tired of the ‘but can’t you just build in this one more thing?’ meetings. If I tell them we can’t, they get mad. If I tell them we can and we don’t deliver, they get mad. So... you want the truth or do you want me to lie to you? Your choice!5

When you’re frustrated and think you need another developers help, exhaust all of your resources before you ask. Google it, look for similar functionality in the app to mimic, ruminate for a hour. We are all working through challenges.

Ever get assigned a defect like this?
First click any radio button and hit the Next button. Then on the next screen click some buttons and hit back button. Then hit next, change a radio selection, hit back, then next, then back, then next and eventually page will bomb out.
Wtf am I supposed to do with this?!5 -

No I can't move the stories out bc you gave us a hard deadline for the release. -
Only been a developer for two years, am still learning and shouldn't complain... but you can't teach common sense. Sigh2
