The amazing part is how quickly you can jump from one to the other.

@billgates I'm interested in your corporate bullshit generator. I would say the company I work for has one of these, but something tells me it just comes naturally to most of them.
-
@magicMirror tried as a form of punishment. It's part of the settings of the phone.
-
@gitpush who, where?!?!
-
I let it close plenty, but couldn't bring myself to push the button on devrant.

I refuse to believe this. I'm fairly confident it is the CSS's fault for not working right. Haha
-
Can you set up profiling and try to determine if the query response time is slow or if their is just too much backlog?
-
Following because I'm interested.

Congrats. But ID attributes cannot start with an exclamation point. https://w3.org/TR/html401/.... Lol
Edit: I stand corrected. Html5 does allow it. My mistake. Feel free to -- me for I am ashamed. -
Nothing in my opinion.
-
Haha. I guess you are right @gloslistan

The court record said domestic violence. No, I told him I wouldn't work with him. He was flighty anyways.

Do you live in the Midwestern US? She might still be trying to get the right answer.

I'm not an elastic search expert but I think using a boosting query to promote exact matches over fuzzy could help a situation like this. I may be very wrong though. Lol
-
I'm afraid to ask, but was "simple" quoted on their message or did you add that? lol
-
@Jumpshot44. I did. but just barely in time.
-
@jireh, Sorry, I don't follow??? lol

The MIS team has been working on building out a complete DR plan for every service we use in the company, but it is not implemented yet. I am a Web developer in the marketing department (strange, I know) so I'm not on the alerts except for the Web servers. I would imagine some alerts were at least queued up by the monitoring system, but the email servers and/or network was already not functioning, so... I have to say, our MIS team is awesome at handling issues with as much grace as possible. From the time they knew, they were able to coordinate the AC repairs and get everything back up within 3 hours.

you too?

from what I heard, the red X at the top constituted agreement to the upgrade. I've heard a lot of people are getting the same surprise. sorry you woke up to a surprise.
-
my response is always, "huh, that's weird. hit f5. works? great, let me know if it happens again."
-
Report them to your email provider/ISP. Unsolicited advertisements = SPAM. Unacceptable

I don't know what you mean....

how do you know when to add 1 to the users age. lol
-
Haha. My work does still have faster Internet than my house.

Yeah, I would have to say it's worth fixing. Sales managers losing access to the information they need to perform their jobs can cost a company a lot more than a little hassle and a slight headache. 😉

We've built a Web based quoting tool for our company to manage requests, review, and generate final quote documents for customers. I'm planning to use elasticsearch and Kibana to help with reporting and analysis.

Learning more about elasticsearch.
