@NoToJavaScript noobs right if you cant learn to code in 3 minutes maybe its not for you. It takes longer than that for me to drink coffee, its not for me.
-
@Ranchonyx np at least im gettin some talkin and feelin a lil better thx for the support
-
@Ranchonyx if you lived in my city you would understand, ppl dissappear all the time, the crime is on another lvl.
Oh the stories i could tell, im disabled and was living on the edge for a long time due to the inability to produce so def ptsd and stuck, Soon as these interviews pan out, or i get a buyout of my software im outta this state. -
@boombodies flagging means telling having a cinversation with the analyst as to this error resulting in him being let go?
-
@boombodies patience is a virtue and i play the long game, im more worried about my safety than their money. I cant jeopardize my security.
-
Didnt know, ill just get another job cant be too hard. Prob is i need evidence, i generally dont think like that so i never get proof cuz i like to decieve myself in believeing in the honesty of others. Been just sitting around depressed feeling like a fool. Dont really wanna retaliate. Just sux that being honest is not an amicable trait nemore.
-
@Demolishun i fixed it by calling the dr-Dos
-
i would always forget doing the changelog so i just made a git hook that asks me to input the changes in cli on push to prod
-
Imho i would do ws as you are sending updates to a client vs asking a server to do something. Driving the client via the server.
-
It would be nice for my employer to multithread my paycheck and raises
-
Whatever basic the ts1000 used back when computers were for nerds and we used casettes for more than just rock n roll
-
Dont worry bout offending ppl. As engineers we say and do what needs to be done in order to progress. Irrigardless of the bs we will succeed because of the skill, eventually business will get tired of being cancelled and seek us or we create our own. The road to success is arduous but those willing to stick to the end are rewarded the greatest.

Were using ml to figure out more efficient ways of forgetting your password
-
Best part is when you call them, update the number but it doesnt propagate correctly throughout their system leading to certain parts using your old cell
-
The best part is when the data analyst excel user scopes and ditctates the timeline of the lead developers feature set to the employer.
-
My last company i installed virtual box and went about my day they can do whatever they want with the the bare metal.
-
13 hrs to debug a webpack plugin, due to a documentation error, this is what happens when lotsa non enginerrs build a system, its like car parts of all different sizes jb welded together and the boss wonders why parts are falling off
-
@ostream and i thought it was black tar no wonder it tasted crappy
-
I tried a few yrs ago to use laravel and yup thats exactly what i said. For me i went elixir and ocaml now my head doesnt hurt but i forgot to get glasses and keep getting hit by the unemployment bus.
-
Kind of, in reality theres lotsa devs, prolly moreso than jobs and we are standby. Being good has little to do with it more of being affordable, imho theres very much incompetence bc tech isnt something like building a car and is hard to quantify for non devs. Doesnt help that there is 0 standards yeah it looks good on paper but ya know reality.
-
@donozone man oh man i agree, imho if you dont have external eyes you dont know the level of dev you have. Last company i discovered a lets say massive $ error only to be termd bc the outsourced dev company and vp where defrauding the corp. Code review would have solved this but was actively blocked and the ceo didnt trust the new dev cuz of fear of sabotage placed in him by said individuals. Sux getting hit by a bus. I really need to get my eyesight checked everytime i cross the street that damn bus is aiming for me.
-
@NEMESISprj what is a muppet? Lol
-
I give up, denied for a job again im juat going to kill myself no one wants my skills fucking living in this tunnel. I wasted my life
-
@asinglenoob yup min wage pay for fast food is over 1k per month
-
@theKarlisK i was using the android jobs app normally i used privoxy which rapes adblock it doesn't just block ads it rewrites the page via proxy
-
@oudalally tru but also erlang doesn't block context as it doesn't hold ints on the stack just pointers this each page can be quickily disposed of as it just points to a memory address where the function resides vs waiting for each clock cycle to access a different page
-
The time and place for functional is always, oop can be functional and f# is total garbage. It is ms clone of erlang and a shit one at that. Only after using Haskell and erlang can you understand this all ms does is clone other generally better battle tested languages. Ex Cisco has released over 2 billion devices using erlang. And Cisco is at the top of their game in the routing world.
-
@AlexDeLarge get to the choppa do it naaaaooowwww, its nawt a tumoa
-
@wannabee i live in a tunnel, but sometimes i couch surf when i have nuff to pay a friend for a week approx 50$, the company did not think it was a short timeframe, they thought i was wasting their money getting nothing accomplished

Keep your head up, when life gives you lemons drink vodka, it can only get better Life is like a sine wave, ride the wave. The further you go down the higher you get, it just takes time, I'm in a similar situation, soldier on hoorah
