And that’s one of the reasons that we have USB-C now. For everything. And with reversible plug it’s even more idiotproof.
-
@fonfi Mate, at least you have nice weather, snow and fun. And beer. That’s what my winter holidays look like: 📷
-
You mean "in their wiki"? ;)
-
Wrong site, it's not a Wykop.
-
@ritaly Yeah, it always starts with "only 4 columns"... ;)
-
Maybe Jira knows, that "SELECT *" is a cancer...
-
@iKameo why it shouldn’t be legal? They’re not obligated (by GDPR) to keep any stats...
-
@billgates model Core™ i7-2670QM is true 4 core CPU.
-
@zombieleet should we? 😉
-
@Kekica nodejs instead of php? You're joking...
@sain2424 change your job or... maybe try something else, like silkworm breeding? 😉 -
And Apple probably won't fix it, because it works correctly on TouchBar... 😉
-
Yeah... Another rant on JS without basic JS function knowledge. Now go and read about parseInt and its parameters. And about Array.map as well.
-
At least they know git and jira. Not like ZUS (social insurance institution), where they still remember diskettes, used there not so long time ago ;)
-
Aaand of course it’s not true. If someone really want to pay for Mac just to install Linux on it, security features of T2 can be disabled which allows installation of third party OS.
And anyway, Microsoft was first with that kind of „protection” ;) -
@Haxk20 which country/bank uses such idiotic verification method?
-
@vane I have to check upload speed on some modem. On my phone, it still shows <10 Mbit... Or maybe it’s because of TMobile ;)
-
@JKyll Facebook was built in PHP - they switched to Hack (still PHP-like) when they were already a huge service.
-
@heyheni sometimes it surprises me, that in some western countries they have slower connection speeds... ;) Here, in Poland, we have some companies that also offer 10 Gbit FTTH connections - but for me 250 Mbit (and probably 500 Mbit soon) is more than enough for everything.
-
@ewpratten it’s in the „rant/story” section, to be precise... And the „rant” tag added automatically. Yeah, probably I fucked something up ;)
-
@SteffTek because it’s 8 bits shorter? ;)
-
0. Backend, mostly PHP. But generally, full stack.
1. Parallels VM, rarely used - just for specific VPN client (which, this way, doesn’t cut off my Mac’s network)
2. Better. Since 2006, when I fully switched to Mac.
I’m using my fifth Mac now (MacBook Pro 13” 2018). -
@jAsE-Official why would I? Nobody forces anyone to be an iOS developer ;)
-
@jAsE-Official and nobody forces anyone to use Apple ecosystem...
-
@ScriptCoded or poor salary... ;)
-
Yeah, I know this feeling. I have the same when I have to switch to Windows PC...
-
Damn... My low-budget home server has only 1 gig of RAM. Soldered to the board. But still it runs and does everything I want ;)
-
So, for 101th tab I suggest googling "how to crop images".
-
Iran? Just one question: why'd you treat women like that? What's wrong with males in your country?!
-
Also, Breslau is just localized name, not official. Just like Köln is Kolonia in Polish, or Cottbus is Chociebuż.
-
@Fast-Nop wrong verb order, should be like that: „ja chcę PIĆ kawę i JEŚĆ ciasto” ;)
And...
@alkuzad we have to remember, that Wrocław is just Wrocław, a Polish city. Just like Lviv is now Lviv, an Ukrainian city. We (Poles) have the same problem with „our” eastern regions, like Germans with our western regions.
