@BurnoutDV because if you listen to a real piano you hear the lower sounds more on your right and the higher sounds more on your left. (Or flipped if you play it yourself).
This isnt something you always want (think live music) but for a solo recording it is really important. -
@halfflat you could but you cant (yet?) create a true illusion from a mono source.
-
@electrineer actually for me its very true. but yeah I also find those quotes pointless
-
Who actually cares?
Its way more convenient to group all of them under one name.
Also most of the people frowning on html/css beeing called a programming languages still cant center a freaking div or write semantic html.. -
I would use typescript instead. Flow has some nasty bugs and ts has a much wider adoption rate these days
-
Love my note 9 but the note 10 seems like a downgrade to me.
-
In terms of typing speed or productivity? Nope.
I still have one at home and it is pretty fun to type on but thats about it. -
Intellij even shows the typo..
-
@markie-tee if you wanna support artists go see theirs show and buy their cds/merch.
You dont really support us if you listen to us on spotify;) -
Ide for certain languages (with extensions ofc)
-
@Konsole then use cypress. Its much easier than selenium.
-
It looks promising but without typescript support its a no for me
-
Love how people cant answer a simple question.
I suggest vscode. Its much faster and has a huge ecosystem. -
You sure it wasnt 418?
-
Disagreeing here.
Coding Exams should be on a computer and you should be allowed to google. This is what programming is about in the end. Beeing efficient at searching and solving issues.
If you have a paper exam then it should be more on the theoretical side and pseudocode. We had to 'code' 5 java classes with getters and setters by hand in college. I learned fuck all doing it. -
@M1sf3t honey isnt necessarily unhealthy but if you add it to every glass of water/coffee you drink it will be. Its no issue if you do it as a treat though.
-
It seems like a natural reaction for devs to classify something unknown as shit.
I would suggest to overcome this reaction and actually check it out a bit before you form your opinion -
@crisz well if you wanna go all fancy at least use the spread operator instead of split ;)
-
@mt3o fair enough, but that still makes him seem very unprofessional (working without contract, not wanting to involve a lawyer) so it good for his short reddit fame, but most employers will see that as a huge red flag
-
@Charon92
A 256 gb ssd lol -
I prefer jsx and hooks but other than that flutter is very enjoyable.
Out of curiosity: what platform specific apis are you missing? -
@mt3o yes I noticed that and I am not trying to defend the client.
Thing is, we live in a 'civilized' world so when you steal my car I cant just break into your house as revenge ;)
Since I dont know his contract I can only guess but my point stands. As a business owner I wouldnt hire him. To settle things like that you get a lawyer involved. You dont go eye for an eye -
Most stupid and unprofesional thing I have seen in a while. I would never hire this guy if I found out about this.
In typical reddit fashion he gets glorified by wannabe programmers while people living in the real world get downvoted to hell.
I guess this guy didnt have a contract or if so a very bad one. I would almost always ask for upfront payment - especially if you dont know the client.
And if he doesnt pay the rest I would get a lawyer involved instead of possibly breaking the law myself.. -
@irene 1k for a monitor stand is kinda amusing
-
Dont worry. The apple fanboys will find a justification why it costs that much
-
@gitpush exactly. Take a look at effective dart. Its a pretty good overview over dart for programmers
-
@Brolls there is not one true path in software development. You are making the exact same mistakes as those OO fanatics you hate if you think that.
-
Maybe I dont care about my os but care about getting my job done and Windows does fine for me.
-
The one thing bixby is better at
-
Why even do relative estimation if you use hours anyway lol.
