My Dell Inspiron has the same top resolution, but otherwise I don't complain... If I ever feel I don't have enough space on the screen I use my Mint's workspaces - working like a charm so far :)

@cyberlord64 To be precise he doesn't even hold the money, it's under his ex-mentor's supervision. It mostly goes toward a storage space for Grant's stuff and month-to-month living. It's generally a pretty sad story. As Grant answered to the question if he's still programming: "Life gets in the way". Those are the words that depressed me the most in this whole story.

So far I gave my old PC to my nephew... and 3 months later it's motherboard died. Do you know how hard is it to find the exact same model from ~10 years ago? Still I'm pretty much a tech hoarder - still have and occasionally use my acer aspire one with mint on xfce. Still love this little guy.
