Are you using any CSS reset to establish a consistent baseline?
-
@palonE yes you can, ob_start()
-
@drewbie again, 100% agree.
-
100% agree. It’s ridiculous. Everything is there, plus first-hand recommendations and endorsements.
I’m self employed, but do like to browse available positions from time to time. There have been occasions where I’ve been tempted to reach out, but have zero desire to put a resume together that covers 24 years of experience. -
@nachocode Just curious... does the CEO get involved with minutia at all levels of the company? How many people are in this company?
-
Is this a startup? Because it sounds like a startup. You shouldn’t be interfacing with a CEO ... you should be interfacing with a PM that will go to bat for you.
For your own sake (and sanity) I would get out of this position. I’ve been there; dealing directly with a CEO/founder that thought that because she had the initial idea (I won’t even say “vision”) every thought she had on a whim was 100% valid and relevant, when most of the time it was counter-productive.
She would chase shiny objects rather than polish the meaningful objectives.
That’s both professionally and personally deflating. -
They should fix it with rm -rf /
-
What were the User configurations that were made and how?
-
@gitpush 🤣
-
A couple of options to see the full path ... Finder menu > View > Show path bar ... Command+i on any file or folder ... if you need a “copyable” path, you can drag a folder or file on a terminal window or a text file ... it will output the path.
-
Now this is just not nice
-
I would imagine that this occurs in Chrome also, is that right? They are actually behaving in accordance with the spec with regard to missing links.
-
height: 100%; of what? Perhaps you’re looking for height: 100vh;
-
@MFateen we all know that. This is DevRant ... a place to rant.
-
@theOverseer doh! I was distracted ;)
-
I can choose which font I want to use ... I'm so free
-
I sure hope so
-
There is a dead giveaway that this was an issue in India: "as per".
-
Thought I was looking at a giant Sharpie for a minute there
-
Fan: "Don't worry about it, I'm a normal fan."
Me: "Did...did you just"
Fan: "No" -
I really don't get everyone's issue with the lack of an audio jack with no lack of audio (wired and wireless) and an adapter in the box. People really love to settle themselves in a camp.

The stupid is strong with this director.
-
Safari for dev and regular use ... Chrome, Firefox, opera, IE9/10/11, Edge for testing.
-
I like it!
-
I would say you're in the right here. Marketing should switch from a "can we" mentality to a "should we".
-
Nope ... not just you :)
-
@ahmedam this wasn't the time to install ... this was the time to install AND test all critical apps and environments. Big difference there. Time to install is much less.
-
@SirWindfield yes! Forgot to mention that!
-
@beax I've been using it through the betas, so it's hard for me to remember exactly what's new ... but authentication with Apple Watch, Siri on the desktop, Apple Pay in Safari, Universal Clipboard, and iCloud Drive integrated with Desktop and Documents are a few.
-
This has actually happened to me before :)
