@Wisecrack do people know/talk about this in your country?
-
@saucyatom the difference is that azeris attack civilians on purpose, and yesterday when our forces were to attack azeri military airport, artsakh president called upon azeri civilians living nearby to leave the territory not to get injured...
-
@Wisecrack wow!! brilliant, you must contact our military!! that would make up for and more for the rumors they are spreading...
-
@Wisecrack yes you heard it right. but i guess no country would exchange/buy or whatever those outmoded weapons, so now they're put to use.
and right, air coverage is really important, so you won't suddenly see enemy uavs flying above, what we did days ago -
@100110111 worst of all time 😬 just want this war to be over already, asap.
-
@saucyatom worst thing is that peaceful civilians are targeted :(
yesterday, when artsakh president commanded forces to attack their military airport as first answer back in a week, he asked azeri civilians to leave the territory so they won't get injured... the difference. -
@F1973 they are using cluster munition, kasirga, smerch, fougasse weapons.
never knew what those were before. -
@ViRaS thank you 🙏
-
@iiii sorry to hear that, hopefully more peaceful days are ahead...
-
@iiii oh, where are you from?
-
@N00bPancakes thank you, peace to the whole world 🤞
-
@electrineer oh how did you find this?! i remember when he visited armenia https://youtu.be/nmP13BDPkJA
-
@F1973 much appreciated 🙏 really nice to hear such things from people of other nationalities, so they'll know the truth 💯
it's crazy how this has been going on for a week now, with enemies using weapons banned by a number of international conventions, against civilians, and the world is still silent... -
@F1973 yes
-
@AlmondSauce i want to create websites or web apps as a hobby/side projects. but sure i want to do it not on medium level, but as best as i can, that's why i'm asking this question.
-
also, i guess i lied that i like to do research... once i wanted to opt for dissertation but now i can't wait to finish my master's and start freelancing in my free time... times change.
-
i've heard these websites do not "work well" for freelancers outside the united states. i mean, employers don't trust them (?)
also, how do i get a project? i've applied for a few projects but never got chosen -
@rutee07 what if i'm the "problem"? i feel like another dev would have done it in time.
me? i'm trying to change some code to make it better and see how that works, or fixing some bugs in my implementation which do take time.
i'm working with c++/qt btw. -
crashes are another reason...
I'm working overtime/on the weekend to get it done on time but it's making things worse? i become unproductive with time, also too tired to think. so idk which way is right. -
@sak96 actually that's true. it's just that they are confident. maybe even too confident.
today we had a mid and the confident ones talked all the time, like "wow, i have a great idea about how to construct the query" (it was a sql class). i didn't speak. a word. i was writing the script. in the end of the lesson the teacher said, "one person passed today's challenge". guess who that was ;)
so yes, loud doesn't always mean right, quiet doesn't mean wrong ;) -
i'm not even jealous of her.
she's just a confident person in general, i don't think i'm that confident.
many times i think that people will like my work, they often do, but then there are better works. and i'm like "turns out mine wasn't that good".
also thanks for the encouragement, yesterday i was under impression of feelings, and just took it too far i guess. -
and also she talks with so much enthusiasm and excitement. not something i'm good at. or maybe i'm good at it internally, but not externally.
and it's not just the presentation that others are better at than me, it's everything. they know better, they understand better, they learn faster, they looker better... they ARE better... -
as i understand, there was some extra charge left in charger, so when i took off the charger, that made the charge vanish, and when i plugged the charger back, it started operating normally.
-
@alexThunder repaired it myself. (i had googled how, but i was just scared to take the battery out).
-
because it's not that the committee knew how we did during 4 years, but they just graded us based on our confidence at "public speaking"...
-
yes, a year later i came here to say that i'm writing the first style now and i like THAT now. sorry not sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
@linuxxx thanks, what did you use to help you (e.g. book, website)?
-
@Codex404 yes :D thanks!
-
hi people! thanks for the support. i wrote that post 39 days ago and today, during my 1-on-1 with my manager she told me that... i'm not an intern anymore, i'm an engineer now! i can't believe this!
-
i'm intern and i've just started, soon it will be 2 months, and i'm still uncomfortable with my assignments. sometimes i feel bad asking questions cause i feel like i've already asked a lot and plus they might think that "she's dumb, how did they hire her?" and not everything can be googled and found, especially at work.
