I feel bad for trying to implement emoji support in our web application, but yeah #2017..

And damn, php + mysql + emojis.. What a pain in the ass.

"Just change your table charset, they said, it will work, they said" FML

    Got it to work.. But.. It feels bad to scroll through your database and seeing emojis in your data records 😐

    @BertMaurau use another viewing tool which doesn't interpret these utf8 emoji ;) But your tool right now is doing the right thing, your just not used to it, to see such a thing in the database.
