    If "best" = "most used" then Windows is the best operating system. That would also make Wordpress the best web framework.

    @Demolishun I refuse to believe that there are less linux in all its shapes and sizes out there than windows. Desktop? Sure. Servers, satellites, embedded, literally everything else? Not a chance in hell.

    @kiki yeah, phones OSes are even more. I agree.

    Kinda shocked Rust is only 0.3%

    They are LOUD.

    "popular" != "good".

    and "cancerous" != "good".

    @Demolishun yes =[

    I wanna do rust but no jobs for rust. Oh well
  • 2
    @Demolishun well to be fair, it's a language more used as "the hobby language next to work", so until enough projects get up and running, this number will stay low.

    I'm honestly a little surprised, how many jobs python has. would've expected it more being between ruby and c++

    the other theory i have is, that these are "open" job applications. so people who like their jobs, are not very likely to switch and or have good enough throughput, to not need to compensate with more personnel.

    What the reason is i believe that, is that there's no way, there are only 4k jobs for ABAP.

    I don't see anything that defines the best programming language in that graph
  • 1
    when those graphs get released I'm usually working with the top ones, but somehow, for some reason, always trying to learn one from the bottom

    this is completely unintentional and yet I start to see the masochist pattern

    I hate everything about this "rant"

    Thank you for the topic you brought me! The "best" programming language often depends on a variety of factors such as the specific requirements of the project, the developer's familiarity https://bitlifeonline.io/ with the language, community support, performance needs, etc. ecosystem productivity, and availability.
