We're launching @mentions in comments very soon. Threading might come later on, but we'll start with that as it accomplishes the basics of what I think most people are looking for I the short-term. But down the line we do want to greatly improve commenting, but right now we're prioritizing features.

The font size would have to be decreased, I think, for threaded comments.

Most rant comments max out at about 6 to 8. Making the threading feature irrelevant IMHO.

@zaba I agree. I think @mentions will solve most commenting annoyances and make it much more intuitive. We can evaluate other changes after we see how that goes!
