I need your help guys...My company wants to save money on buying Photoshop licence and use Gimp instead. We only need some of the features, and most of them are achievable with Gimp so that's not a problem. The issue is that the tool that is mostly used is the Ruler with it's Straghten option. Doing it with Rotate tool in Gimp is a huge pain in the ass and it decreases productivity. Is there any way to get this Ruler>Straighten like combo in Gimp? Or any other tool?
Thanks

Isn't CS3 Photoshop free? That may have what you are looking for

@Wozza365 It is? But how do I get it? I can't get it through Creative Cloud or the official website. I downloaded it from other sources, but it asks me for a S/N...

You could run the photoshop trial on a Virtal Machine and take a snapshot. That way you've got 30days of trial for ever.

@ClemFrieckie @Wozza365 This is what they say on the download page: "Only customers who legitimately purchased CS2 or Acrobat 7 and need to maintain their current use of these products may use the serial numbers provided during the download." I'll have to check does this concern only support or is it basically legal only for those who previosly payed for it. Maybe I can get it for free through our CC because we have a licence for 2 instances of PS. I'll have to try it on monday. Thanks a lot!

@nikola1402 if you have a licence and have multiple coworker use the programm, than you may install it on www.sixa.io and share the login.

@heyheni Wow, i never knew about this. But this still means that they can only use it one at a time...is it possible to have 2-3 people logged in at the same time and work on different work spaces (virtual desktops)?

@ClemFrieckie there's still a link but you can't get to it normally. You have to search the web for the link itself...if it's still legal i'd love to live with it ☺

@daviddd Designer won't do it for me but Affinity Photo seems like just what we need! I'll have to test it out tommorow on our material. Thanks a lot!

Btw, for all of you wondering where did the official link to CS2 go, they hid it here : https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-su...
