why every nerd enjoy dark theme (full black #000)? i only use it in my IDE and not full black, i feel that full black hurts my eyes

what really hurts my eyes, is the sudden change between themes.

I personally like dark theme, for various reasons. However, i don't care what other people use, they might have different reasons.

That results in me developing software with toggles for different Themes, so people can pick and choose.

I like to be locked in a dark room with perfect black themes and only the whites of the code haunting my dreams

Dark themes make sense at nights. In bright days they are a great way to strain one's eyes
