Windows 10 "update" just broke itself... I can't wait for game companies to start building more games for Linux so I don't have to spend my free time fixing my spywar... I mean operating system

I'm thinking of creating some sort of website just to create more attention to the "big" game devs? Not sure how effective it would be ... But as a web dev I can't see what else to do

@incognito what would the website do exactly?

I think it's more gamers that need to be shown how much of their library is available on Linux. There is a tool for this somewhere and I was pleasantly surprised. Would be enough for me to switch were I not stuck with visual studio for university projects

@Wozza365 the website wouldn't "do" some functionality like check your steam library for Linux compatibility (what you can do within the steam client itself btw!) it would more serve as a call for attention? Or maybe some functionality that would let you sign "partitions" and send it to a specific developer? I have no idea, I am open for ideas tho!

Well mine once deleted one of its system files then complained about it lol then I placed it back and then it's version was incorrect...

@incognito I don't think you can see your list of Linux games whilst on Windows can you?

And I'd be down for anything that helps push Linux gaming forward. Perhaps a collection of tools for porting, common issues and a forum for Linux port discussion

Building more games for browsers would be great solution.

@Wozza365 yeah you can, hover over your library where you can sort the list (like installed, software etc.) somewhere at the bottom you see steamOS / Ubuntu (or some form of it) 😉
