    @Froot yea just that they ain't programmers
  • 8
    @chuksFestus I'm sure they can write a hello world if you show them how to
  • 9
    Well, to me the ones that appeal to me are not the relative model-like ones, I like mine the actual geeky type. not "hi guyz Im tots a geek girl, I play x, y and z games too so Im tots a gamer gurl too", I like mine that sometimes has messy hair since it they have unruly hair yet for me still they still look cute in that and has no problem going in long conversations of whatever shit they like and other geeky stuff, It will be nice if she is they type that enjoys reading from time to time too

    πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ the matrix terminal on the laptop
  • 1
    @NoMad I know I wouldn'tπŸ˜‚
  • 4
    Surely I can't be the only one who's way more interested in what's on the screen rather than her.
  • 2
    @karwler sorry man... I think you're all alone there
  • 4
    I want the pink and cyan keyboard backlighting 😍
  • 6
    This image is so obviously fake. The T-shirt, leggings and cup. Ugh.

    The leggings look really cool though!

    segmentation fault

    In my area there is a meet up group where people do talks on coding etc
  • 16
    That's not how a programmer looks...But then again, I shouldn't be talking, because I look like a moldy potato :D
  • 5
    Even an AI will think her as a non programmer person with 99.9% confident score
  • 2
    @jsframework9000 that setup is legit.
  • 2
    If only I looked that good ☹
  • 2
    @NoMad horrible, and sadly not true according to my mirrors!
  • 3
    In the matrix.
  • 5
    Well, I don't know about the woman, but the desktop does not look even remotely like mine. Where are decolorized postit's? Where does she stores those old but still useful pieces of hardware? And how can she run any machine without the power cables, VGA's, fires, and USB tangled around the coffee mug? If you are going for the cliché, go all the way and show me a fat, ugly cat sleeping all over the keyboard.

    @Ashkin I want that phone stand thingy
  • 3
    A hardcore girl programmer doesnt look like that.
  • 1
    Laptop’s keyboard is gorgeous 😍😍😍😍
  • 1
    @Ashkin I think it's a shortcut sticker for the keyboard. There are a bunch of those for various programs.
  • 1
    @NoMad Ah cool, maybe not.
  • 2
    Found another pic of her.
  • 5
    I've seen her on Instagram. She goes by the user name "programm.r". She "pretends" to be a good programmer by posting pics of her MacBook, headphones, spectacles etc.
  • 9
    @sbaitmangalkar Might be a good programmer. We really don't know. I withhold judgement until I see her repo.
  • 1
    @Ashkin There is a saying - "Looks, meh!! Code, yeah" πŸ‘πŸΌ It means that, looks fade as time passes. But your values, ethics and skills doesn't have an expiration period.
  • 1
    Which keyboard is that?
  • 2
    @chuksFestus you can only find on online programming course advertisements πŸ˜‹
  • 1
    @silverBullet lol true tho
  • 0
    @NoMad by the way don't you think it's time I get to see your gorgeous face?
  • 1
    @Condor
    That's kind of you to say, but I'm more hideous irl. It's okay tho, I've already embraced it :)
  • 1
    @NoMad
    Aw thanks :)

    You have to contact this website.

    I like how it says "nerd" on the mug, kinda shows that she's just a model who most likely doesn't write code
  • 0
    I am the only one dissapointed for the message this rant is sending? We are living in an era with those kind of stereotypes ("where are women programmers" duh duh duh) are disappearing and those images are getting less common in real life (luckily).
    IDK if I'm explaining well.
  • 2
    @Condor What if she is a pterodactyl with khaki pants who flies a jet on Wednesdays only? I'm married, I don't care about dating her. I'm not assuming she can't code until I've seen evidence of that.
  • 1
    I love it that programming has become hip. Perfect circle: pays well, is interesting and is considered cool by society. Awesome!
  • 0
    @codePatrol Absolutely I'm not being judgemental here. As far as her repo is concerned, here you go

    https://github.com/robynsilber
  • 0
    @sbaitmangalkar Yeah, standard Java development with some swift. Seems capable enough. Definitely not posing as a developer like some suggest.
  • 2
    @codePatrol Yes, definitely looks capable. But my thought is, I meet very very talented programmers in the open-source community on a regular basis and I try to learn a lot from them. But none of them ever pose as a super geek or a super nerd. So, is posing like this really required? Again, I'm not judging anyone here. Just a thought!

    @jsframework9000 scrolled way to far this comment.
  • 2
    @legionfrontier you just described me except for the cute in messy hair, my hair is messy most of the times, but I'm not sure if it looks cute πŸ˜‚
  • 0
    I don't get it, why do most people shy away from being called beautiful or admitting they are cute here? It's not modesty believe me. Just for the record am one handsome admirable, aristocratic, athletic, august, beautiful, becoming, clean-cut, comely, dapper, elegant, fair, fashionable, fine, good-looking, graceful, impressive, lovely, majestic, noble, personable, pulchritudinous, robust, sharp, smart, smooth, spruce, stately, strong, stylish, suave, virile, well-dressed, well-proportioned guy. Like am sexy and I know it😎
