    I'm still curious about how the universe classifies some things as observers and others not

    @Krokoklemme we don't have enough docs about the universe.
    We have to experiment and write our own.....

    *nods in agreement but has no idea*

    I think you explained that quite well, I feel like I understand it a little better.

    But how do our eyes interact with the quantum particles? Aren't they really just observing the photons that bounce off the object?

    i think it’s more like:
    “hmm... how do we measure if there are any cars on this road?”
    “hey! i have an idea! lets block the road with a wall, and if a car crashes into it, there is a car!”

    news headline: cars don’t move if you measure them.

    @Krokoklemme though @Lahsen2016 doesn't like them, I find one-liners a bit easier to remember; an observer is whatever absorbs either the subject (if the subject is energy) or the energy emitted from the subject (if the subject is matter).

    @Lahsen2016 well thank you very much 😁

    @irene @Lahsen2016
    Right, I think I get it!

    It's the tools we use to measure it that might possibly change its result?

    @irene
    Darn, how did that take me so long?

    @irene
    Well, you two explained it superbly, I guess I was just a bit tired yesterday.

    @kimailis @irene @Lahsen2016 @Flygger Reading your comments just made my day.
    My lost love for Physics came back.
    Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
