Lensflare1412914dThat’s dark.
One of my greatest fears is being trapped in a conscious state in a body that can’t move. -
cafecortado685314d@Lensflare sleep paralysis, I had it a couple of times, fortunately it only lasts less than a minute

jestdotty244014dwhy would they freeze you so long though
it would make more sense to start with shorter intervals then make your way up, since shorter freezes are theoretically going to be more successful and less tricky -
netikras3463614d@cafecortado lucky you. Mine last from minutes to tens of minutes. The worse the nightmare I'm waking up myself from, the longer the paralysis. Sometimes it's a paralysis inception: the moment I free myself from it and start moving, getting up and walking around, I come to realize I'm still in a nightmare

Liebranca18913d@cafecortado @netikras One time, I woke up but couldn't move, and I started hearing noises, like static but very loud, then I see "someone" standing by the side of my bed. I'm not sure how long it lasted but fffffucking shit I panicked, I already knew that I was prone to hallucinations but I never thought I'd get literal night demons.
Sharing this story was a bad idea.
They celebrated the first successful cryogenic freezing. She had no way of letting them know she was still conscious.
