Why are people on StackOverflow so fucking harsh? I'm a newbie programmer so I'm sorry if I didn't word my question to your specific liking, but you don't have to down vote it because you don't like it or you feel it's beneath you. Maybe give some pointers (without jumping down my throat) so that I'll get better instead of getting me closer to being banned from asking questions. I see other questions that I think suck, but no down votes!

    I’ve never asked a question on SO, but hearing more of these stories makes me wonder how the place still exists with a toxic community of down voting anything because you don’t meet the guidelines 100% or someone’s ego of a preference.

    @NoMad the problem was there WERE many questions like it, but they used methods and classes I wasn't allowed to use, and I explained that. And I though I did include enough to go off of but, still. Anyways. I figured my problem out myself.

    It’s amazing too because I’ve seen some Down syndrome level retarded questions get answered and start a whole stream of conversation and help. Every time I see this I’m like wtf? 🧐

    While I was at uni I got blocked from stackoverflow for asking too many dumb questions
