in switzerland the normal dev tariff is $220 per hour.

Depends, if you gave them an invoice on which you explicitly charge for the certificate as opposed to just for your time then you may have committed fraud.

Charging for the cert by itself would be bad.

Charging for your 5-20 minutes of work (depending on the setup) is just a service charge.

We charge about 5000 NOK to setup SSL certificates, and we just use LetsEncrypt. But we don’t charge for the certificate, just the setup
