cursee165957yYeah they take their actions. We also should start taking real actions. Although I have like a byte networking knowledge, I'm quite curious and interested to build own internet.

@wolt would it be possible to go over the ISPs?
With Wi-Fi maybe? It's range is quite short, but if every home as a connected computer it could work, right? Just wondering. -
@shellbug nvm, a computer's Wi-Fi board can only connect to one device afaik. We would need to make our routers connect to our neighbors' routers.

If tesla supports net neutrality, i guess we can count on them since i hear they will be deploying satellites to provide internet connectivity worldwide.

shandaar5687yCreating some small networks will be possible but something like the internet without infrastructure will not be possible.

RAZERZ26537y@shellbug it's either this (https://youtu.be/PriUY-zObjQ) or this (https://youtu.be/zXTEWFb_6w4), they're both really good though!

Sounds great, now you just need to reinvent the entire way the internet works so it doesn't require trillions of dollars in infastructure.
-
@wolt wouldn't the point be to avoid today's ISPs and internet companies in general and only access the internet through exit nodes?
