Back in 1999 the government here in Australia said they would be enforcing ISP to make censorship of the internet.

At the time my flatmate declared he would download "all the porn on the internet" using our 10MBit cable connection. In weeks after that he filled quite a large folder of compact disks but the censorship thing didn't end up happening.
