Which oneplus do you have if I may ask? I'm thinking about getting a 5t in January and it'd be awesome to hear your thoughts about these

Which oneplus phone do you have?

@localjoost @dontPanic the first one. At least it lasts pretty well I guess... Although they keep jacking up the price... Then again S8 Note is like $1000 I think....

Only complaint and reason i'd want a new phone is the camera (colors and lighting) are off...

since this on was made for the dash charger it should work both ways in the ac adapter. If you look into the adapter you can see that both sides have the power connectors.
I put this one the wrong way in my computer usb port and (of course) it did not work, but neither did it break any part of the usb connector

@Kimmax it doesn't and well the breaking is if you go "hmm its not working, maybe it's not fully plugged in yet, let's push it in more"

I know the struggle, I've been suffering with my own one plus cable for a while now. I'm not sure what they were thinking about when they designed this piece of shit

    @dontPanic
OP 5 user here, Great Phone, a little odd Fingerprintscanner tho, i liked the Idea of a rear Scanner in the Nexus 5X which I previolusly owned, the combination of 6GB RAM and a Qualquomm 835 is incredible for the price I bought it!

@Mizz141 hotter the pictures. For my OPO, basically I take the RAWs and then tune/edit them in Lightroom. The autogenerated JPGs seem pretty bad... Though I use Camera-FV5, not the stock Camera app

@billgates @dontPanic I got the oneplus 5 months ago and I'm more than satisfied. The Dash Charger is okay-ish but I don't dare using it for other devices because of the high amount of Ampère 🙄

@dontPanic Got the OnePlus 5t as soon as it released and I'm loving it! Fair warning: you might become your group's photographer once they see the camera quality.
The slightly slippery back does give me nightmares though

Games are kinda messed up on the 18:9 screen though. Edges get cut off

@arguablysane 5T or S8 Note? My friend keeps saying the Note is awesome...

Either way to I ain't upgrading too this phone is on the verge of death... Maybe still got another 4 more years.. Hopefully

This cable was terrible, I believe they improved their design after the OnePlus One or Two. I have a OnePlus 3 and it's a normal cable.

@billgates Had the note 4 for 2+ years prior to this so yeah I like the Note series. The note 8 is nearly double the price at 66K INR (oneplus 5t is 38K INR). There's a limit I'm willing to spend on a phone.
The only thing I miss in the OnePlus is the microsd card support but with 128GB internal it ain't an issue. The stylus and Samsung extras like the infrared blaster are features I barely used
Factor in the better support for third party ROMs from one plus and it was a no brainer
