Every time someone rants about Visual Studio I'm like: WTF are they talking about? it is the best IDE I ever used!!

but now after using VS 2017 I must say:
WHAT THE FUCK MICROSOFT DID TO THIS THING! IT RANDOMLY FREEZE EATS OUT ALL CPU AND NOW USES A GOOD 1.5GB RAM!

my previous experience:
barely 20% of CPU
at max 700MB RAM

Guess those days are over :\

@jAsE is it Enterprise feature or removed from all VS ?? Are they fking serious? It is indeed a very fast and efficient way to finish stuff

@jAsE in their defense, community edition is not meant for this type of things, I suppose the pro or the enterprise only :\

@ilikeglue Guess Microsoft is even copying Apple in IDEs :(
XCode is the worst IDE I've used, and MS is now competing on who makes the worst IDE ...

Vs community has all the same features as vs pro and is perfectly fine for professional development it’s only the license that is different. If you and your mate wanted to start a company and sell a professional product you could do that. Only when you start earning x amount or have more than 5 developers are you required to switch. Syncfusion, inspired by Microsoft, offer the same deal on all of their entire enterprise control suite as well

Oh and the website is the only way for TDS, even in enterprise/pro although the built in browser works okay

For me: about 5% CPU usage and ~300MB RAM 😅
