Just found out about OpenAGE - Age Of Empires 2 for Linux!
Compiling now..

I'm following this thread, I'm an Age of Empires fan, if that works with you, then goodbye productivity for me as I'm for sure going to do the same :3

I have spent it alot of time playing this game :) I will keep you update! Seems like you actaully need a legit copy of AoE2HD in order to copy the assets because they are not shipped in this package because of copyright and stuff

@Linux oh ya please, I miss those days where I used to cheat, build a huge army, get frustrated that I cannot select all of them, but end up smashing the enemy XD

@gitpush Have you tested the new version? The popcap is at 500 now - in some maps 800

then got more into FIFA :S
But I sometimes miss that game, and I'd love to play it again in my free time

In linux even games need compiling.

I dual boot windows just to run AoE HD via steam and CoC(Generals+redalert) via origins. I'll try AoE on my Ubuntu! ^_^

Have been playing this so much the past few months. Can't wait for the new versions to come out.

Don't know if it was really good game design or just shear luck. But this game was really balanced.
