What do you think about a SaaS for sustainability and carbon footprint analysis of raw materials in BIM information?

The aim is to create a digital platform based on analysis of complex geometric files for construction and architecture and translating that to the CO2 footprint and embodied energy for the raw materials in the building (concrete, steel, glass etc.).

This will led designers increase sustainability and make better buildings.

What are your thoughts about open sourcing this project vs. creating a proprietary software?

Yesterday was the last day at my job.
We had a nice review party (the team pushing back to Scrum)
After it they have said some heartworming words, I cleaned my PC and left .

I was amazed to hear all the good words, as I felt the team think the opposite of me.

For example, I felt the team thinks I'm pushy, they said im modest.

Leaving the company in 9 days (!!!)
Any suggestions for the last week?
Any ideas for a leaving session?
I updated the Wiki and documented everything.
I did the missions no one wants to do and a lot of dev tasks.
What else can I leave behind for the team?

Created event registration site with jQuery and Material design.
I had no web dev knowledge

Everytime I open Origin, I hate my profession

For the first time in my life, I feel good about myself.
In 3 years since I finished my Software Engineering BSc, I made some progress;
I learned React.js, and got into MobX team doing open source.
I learned ClojureScript and RoR and feel comfortable with them.
I do dev tasks and maintenance tasks myself, and enjoy them.
and I care.
I just care.

I am switching jobs.
From junior to non-junior.
I am happy.

I got android 8 on my HTC 10, finally.
Compared the performance of it against my wife's galaxy s7 (international, with exynos8, Android 7)
The s7 seems faster.

In my country the law says that you get paid sick day after the 3rd consecutive sick day.
Meaning that if you where sick 2 days in a row you won't be paid.

In your opinion:
In the yearly terms update talk.
Is it acceptable to ask the company to pay from the first sick day ?
( It's allowed by law and a lot of companies acctually does it)

1. Does anyone know how can I implement progressive rest call in nodejs? (As in knowing the percentage of the loaded data)

I do need the admin page to be heavily modified and to be full of JS logic
