What are some YouTube channels that every developer should subscribe to it?

I really like the coding train. Sometimes really basic stuff, but sometimes good algos (i loved his genetic algo playlist) (warning : javascript)

Kurzgesagt. One of the best science videos out there.

For Python related stuff, sendtex is pretty amazing.

CodingTech is a great aggregator, you can use their videos to find more specific conferences, events and channels.

I've always enjoyed funfunfunction as well, I'm not that into JS but it's a great channel to get a feel for all the async & functional stuff.

I actually think youtube is relatively poor for coding stuff though.

Difficult to search through badly narrated videos which contain very little actual content.

There are some free and paid resources elsewhere. Some Udemy courses are pretty great (usually $10/course on sale), Brilliant.org has some good non video stuff on computer science (both free and paid), and of course there's codecademy and language specific resources.

For both kids and starting adults I think the Khanacademy programming course is really awesome, which teaches people to make little animated programs (processing.js) in an open source / fork friendly environment.
