Three back-to-back meetings today: Stand-Up, Planning, and Retro ... AKA two full hours of hearing everybody’s problems and hearing all viable solutions dismissed because we have no time to fix what’s broken.

    Sounds like the typical implementation of scrum as understood in modern companies...

    @DasKoder we don't do it like that. The retro is the evening befor the planning meeting and there is no standup befor the planning

    @host127001 yes each team makes it their own. What I've seen is that they all seem stray away from the spirit of the original agile manifesto. It always ends up with a lot more meetings than before, less productive time for developers and still no real authority to make decisions.

    It always seems to end up as the old top down management model but with different labels for the meetings.

    I love the idea of agile but I've yet to see it working in an enterprise company.
