People use duckduckgo on chrome while they are signed in.. I mean come on.. Seriously??

Reminds me of people who complain about internet privacy on Facebook

@lxmcf this again reminded me of that viral post where people were putting up status saying "I am hereby not allowing facebook to access any of my data" and posting it on their walls..

I dont know if it was a thing everything but it was for sure a viral thing in India..

Maybe they only use ddg for the bangs and the search results that aren't influenced by the data some company collected on them?

I dont give a shit about privacy, ddg has better features and thats it.

(Also i use it on firefox bc its better than chrome, but if chrome was better id switch in a heartbeat)

@RealKC if the search results are influenced by your usage, doesnt it mean a more accurate search result?

@bitsnpieces that's probably true most of the time, but that kind of search results can also be exactly not what you want.

Example: One of my friends used to play Minecraft, he started playing World of Tanks at one point but if he searched for stuff about World of Tanks he'd get results for tank mods for Minecraft.

@RealKC if your search is not specific, obviously it will show the most relevant results based on your usage..

Searching for stuff (alias googling) is also a skill..

Also using DDG over Google in the above scenario might be simply because of one's search queries.(AFAIK DDG is better with keywords while Google is better with natural questions)
