Mine and @CozyPlanes hobby, it really helps you take your mind off programming and it's "quirks" hehe

    It's just me or the autopilot becomes stupid if you increase the simulation speed to more than "x8"?
    Just yesterday it made me fall into the ocean without a logical reason.
    Or maybe I'm just bad at setting everyting correctly.

    @JS96 it's not just you, it's weird to explain but imagine controlling a plane in the speed you would do as if simulation rate was x1, when the simulation rate is x8. I've only successfully ran the autopilot on x8 once but I ran out of fuel...

    @RAZERZ It has several problems at controlling the altitude, it becomes so inaccurate that starts to go up and down very quickly until goes into stall.
  • 1
    @JS96 yep but hey! Who goes above simulation rate 1 anyways amirite hahaha

    Is it Flight Simulator X? :'')
    I just love playing that game but now I don't have my PC :'(

    @bravoMike this is the better version of it, prepar3d. It's got improved performance and visual stuff such as cockpit and cloud shadows

    a MSFT software?

    The cropped version of the pic didn't show it's in a laptop and i thought you literally do that for hobby when you're taking a break :/ also @cozyplanes 's id didn't help that :/

    @andix ahahhaa thank you! It's a compliment when someone mistakes your sim for reality

    @Andrew221 Lockheed Martin's Prepare3d ;)

    This but in Euro Truck Simulator for me. It's so relaxing.

    I used to fly from Cape Town to different places in realtime with my one laptop, and after setting up autopilot and taking off I worked on my other laptop .Fsx was amazing and the scenery addons and modding was also awesome.

    @zmzmuazzam98 the modding is what's keeping the flightsim community alive. Sadly.

    @jAsE nah this is prepar3d, it's the baby after Microsoft and Lockheed Martin have intercourse.

    @ewpratten Prepare3d :)

    @fox8091 Prepare3d :)
  • 1
    @RAZERZ what's the longest route you have flown.
  • 1
    @zmzmuazzam98 around 13hours. LSZH-KSFO. Had a fun time actually :)
  • 1
    @RAZERZ mine was FACT to OTHH,took about 9hrs had alot of fun on that route.since I modded the hell out of the game the airport's were very accurate and the scenery was awesome.
  • 0
    @zmzmuazzam98 that's the only way you get by. Performance is a bitch though, especially if you run a detailed plane (the one in the picture is the 777-300 from pmdg who have gotten certificates from Boeing themselves that they replicate it well, it's got all the systems and buttons) then you can kiss your FPS bah buy
  • 0
    @RAZERZ very true.I think the ones that cause very little fps drops are the default aircraft.so for shorter routes I used the 737 with a livery of my choice.Its a pity Microsoft have stopped development.i really wanted to see just one twin engine long haul default aircraft that I can fly without getting below 20fps.

    Did not realize this was a sim at first. Looks good!

    I really want to play FSX more...

    Don't have time for that.

    Btw, my recent flight is FNJ - ICN
    Was good. (You get shot down in reality tho...)

    @razerz How much price?
  • 0
    @CozyPlanes this plane is around 70$, rest is freeware
  • 1
    @RAZERZ
    Prepar3d is free??????
  • 1
    @CozyPlanes I wish (depends on how you get it haha), it's 50$ for the academic license ;)
  • 1
    @RAZERZ Noooooooooooooooooo
  • 1
    @CozyPlanes you can pirate, jussayin. There's a professional plus license which is 2000$ and I don't think any consumer bought it
  • 1
    @RAZERZ I can't find any....... :tears:
  • 1
    @CozyPlanes the pirated version? I know a guy😏 We should discord sometime

    @RAZERZ cozyplanes#7062 PM me!
  • 1
    Reason for not playing in full screen?
  • 0
    @mzeffect lower performance and more prone to crashing the simulator
  • 2
    @RAZERZ did you see Aerofly FS2 in 4k? That sim is incredible...

    https://youtube.com/watch/...

    @JS96 I've heard of it but not tried it. I assume it's not got the same community support as the other sims
