I never have this problem.
Why?

1) I have 500GB in my hard drive

2) I can use amazon s3, google drive, dropbox, onedrive or whatever to store shit I rarely use

3) I backup shit projects to github and bitbucket and delete them from my disk

Still don't like node, I never have issues with this kind of software with any other language. Give me a single minified file for your library any day.

And as @irene said, don't use JavaScript outside of a browser!

What about them flat deps in node5 and yarn though?
